Nice! Big fan. Kid won me over when he wheel tapped a section at Horn Rapids on his 125 that I’d never seen done before

Good luck to the young dude.

I'm all in on this kid too.

It's about time for another badass from the NW, ya'll had a break for a few years after Villo left but it's time for the NW to shine again. We just build 'em tougher up here!

He will get a top 12 overall, show a lot of speed but fade just a tad from the difference in Intensity from Amateur's to the Pros... In my opinion

That is possible, but after watching him a bunch I just don't see him as a fade type of guy.

Yo! I've been following Levi quite a bit since his breakout performance at LL last yr. I think he's going to be great pro. He seems to have something special imo. Get to see him in person at Red Bud hell yeah!!

It could also go the complete opposite, where he comes off the gate top 8-10, then intensity surprises him and gets passed by a couple guys, then builds his speed over the moto and fights back into the top 12...

All I want to say is if this dude Top 10s and goes back to Loretta's the system is extra-more-broken than anyone says it is.

I like what I see out of this kid.

I do agree you shouldn't be able to race pro then go back and do Loretta Lynn's in the same season.

40 points maximum allowed for Levi to be able to compete at LL's...

So, say he wins Moto 1 (unlikely, but work with me here), for Moto 2 does Star have him...

A) Say f-it, and have him go for the 1-1?

Cool Back it down for Moto 2 to finish the day with less than 40 points?

C) DNS Moto 2 so there's no risk to his LL campaign?

If I was calling the shots, with a win in moto 1 there is no real point to save yourself for Loretta's. I certainly don't see any moto wins in him first time out though. If he got into the top 10 at his first race overall that would be huge. Think about who is there now that would have to get squeezed out of the top 10 for that to happen.

This kid is technically so gifted. He will be challenging for a championship within a year or two. His fitness may be an issue along with too much adrenaline in this first race.Could he be the American Jett? I know he is older but this kid is a stud

Unless he has some personal LL goal for this year, I see absolutely no point in going. He is already signed, he is fast enough to race the Nats right now. What's left to prove? He will gain 10x more valuable experience getting 4th-10th the rest of this summer outdoors than he would racing 6 short motos at LL.

Yep, does anyone remember who won the enormous number of LL classes from the year before 6 months after the event? Unless you are participating in the class the average fan would be hard pressed to know the podium from any class

Just a guess, but I'd say it's more sponsorship obligation for Star to have X number of bikes at Loretta's than it is personal goals for Levi. If that's the case, even if he wins moto 1, Star will probably bench him for moto 2.

He's going to crush it! He's one of those dudes that you can't stop watching when hes on the track. His style and speed are bad ass! It will be nice to see someone from the PNW kick some ass since RV retired.

Ya I remember Jett was in the top 5, if I remember right, at Budds in 2019 2nd moto. Then he mysteriously had "bike problems" and didnt find or dropped way back. Didn't end up mattering as he ended up running sx in 2020 but you could figure out what was going on there.

It's definitely a team call, not a personal goal. Star is who pays the bills and him (possibly) earning 2 more pro titles for them at LL is more valuable than him finishing out the season in the top 15 in points. I know he's been chomping at the bit to get out there with these boys so I can't wait to see what he can do. Gonna be an eye opener some folks that's for sure!
