Right on! Glad to hear. We need more of this.

And good luck to Bruce! Hope he lands it and can't wait to see video of it.

These guys seriously have screws loose...

"I don't even like doing front flips on trampolines. A month ago was my first time front flipping anything with wheels" - Bruce Cook.

That padding they put down probably saved his life. Any word on how he is? As an aside...you would think that they would alter the ramp and landing for something like that. A steeper landing zone really makes things more forgiving....

Gnarly. Yeah, pretty much couldn't have hit his head any harder than that. Hope he's alright!

That video didn't even make it look as bad as it was. When he under rotated he drove his ass into the ramp and all the force went straight up his back. The Circus has a closer up video from the show that is brutal.

He was conscious the whole time and was waving to the crowd with both arms from the stretcher. Just a guess but I don't see how his lower back could have survived. I have my fingers crossed that here is no paralysis. They didn't say at the show.

On a side note, if you get a chance to see one of these shows that show was unbelievable. I assumed that the tricks would be tamed down but they just kept stepping it up as the show went on. There was a few firsts last night and one and onlys. They do a fantastic job of making the show children friendly. The skateboard ramp is ridiculous. I hit the TO supercross every year but this had me smiling the entire time.

I also got a huge laugh at Travis's energy. He truly does have ADD. He was running around the whole show like a chicken with it's head cut off. They also grabbed 3 people from the crowd and did a 3 person MX backflip and a two person bicycle back flip that didn't end well. Everyone was fine but I don't possible see any way they couldn't be plants as this was way too dangerous.

No brains...no headaches.

They said Bruce was talking to the crowd and giving thumbs up on his way out on a stretcher. Hopefully that is good news.....the carbage to the landing looked ugly.....Paris Rosen tried it a month or two ago at Pastranas and did the same thing but got around just a little bit further and it saved his ass......and it was to dirt. I think they do that longer/less steep landing so as in a worse case scenario it's much more difficult to land on the deck or flat land.....

I love Travis as much as anyone else...

but this crew seems hell-bent on getting someone killed.

This guy is lucky that he landed kind of flat. Seems like if he spiked in head first he'd be dead.

That looked brutal, hopefully everything is good.

What's the landing made out of? I know they take a lot of precautions and learning new materials so that guys (and girls) can try this stuff and minimize the risk of injury at a failed attempt. If this was to dirt in sure the result would be much much worse at then point of impact.

It was a typical wood landing but for the gnarly tricks they put this padding down that was Velcrod together. It looked to be a few inches thick. Travis tried a front flip earlier with two people on the bike. He landed really well but it looked like the foot peg caught the padding and torn it up stopping the bike dead and sending them both over the bars.

"he is getting checked right now, he is getting checked, like we say all the time in nitro circus safety first" really? I think safety gets thrown out the window when you try and double front a 230lb motorcycle.

Hope Bruce recovers ok, but damn got to wonder how far these tricks will go.

What's the purpose? Someone does a double backflip so now we have to do a triple, if someone lives through that we do a quad until enough people die. At some point there is zero style and flow left, it's happened with snowboarding, skateboarding, BMX. It just becomes tucking into a robot ball and hucking. Pass.

Oh yeah, a front flip is just not important from the start, two is less.
