Cygnus what is HOF?

Motofinne Ive never ridden any Suzuki other than my 80 but have heard countless people say the best bike out there was the 06-08 RM's did you not like yours?

By the way after compiling my list of bikes owned, I realized I never keep a bike very long. I tend to buy sell trade way too much. Anyone else have a bad habit of buying and trading/selling all the time. I mean 27 bikes in 23 years is a lot according to my parents haha.

I do like the bike, in fact i rode the RM last week.

2 strokes are fun but the fact is, 2 strokes are hard to ride. I started riding 4 strokes when i was 13-14 years old(i'm 20 now) on the CRF 150 and i'v been in love with the smooth power of the 4 strokes ever since. But i can agree with people that it is fun to get on the RM 250 once in a while but i just love my 4 stroke.

But it is a great bike!

Right on, Id say the most fun bike I ever had believe it or not was the XR100. I did things with that bike it deffinately was never intended to do on a track and broke the frame on it a few times because of it but it always started right up and wanted more. Very low purchase cost, low maintenance, easy to ride, and a wheelie was effortless on that pig!

It starts with a '73 MX100 and ends with a 2015 Husky FE350S...or a '79 CR/RC250R...huh? (I love my "historiic tahitian Honda"!

The best bike of all? Uh...1980 CR125R...or...1981 RM125...no... '89 KDX200! No...uh...'89 KX125...'81 YZ125...?

Ah, hell...I don't know...

Dont really have a favorite, the KX was a beast but the YZ 250's were phenominal. The 77 elsinore loved to melt pistons for some odd reason.

Still have the 74 & 77 bikes

Man, thinking through this list really makes me appreciate and thank my parents for all they have done for me in my life. I can remember getting almost every one of these bikes, vividly. Sitting on them, twisting the throttle, pulling the clutch in and out....

1993 pw50
1994 Cobra BM50 the 33rd one ever made. I remember being in Bud Mamoine's garage watching him put together the machines, was really cool. The original shop was in youngstown, Ohio.
1995 Cobra BM50
1996 Cobra BM50
1996 Cobra King prototype for Super PEEWEE class at Ponca city. It was 72cc. A little rocket ship.
1995 Kx60
1996 Kx60
1997 kx60
1998 KTM 60 (not the 65)
1999 KTM 65
2000 KTM 65
2000 yz 80
2001 Yz 80
2001 RM 125 (my dad traded an eagle talon STI and cash for this bike, kinda wish we still had the talon!)
2001 yz 105 (i think we got it off Matt Goerke, solid running bike)
2002 KX 105 (Got that off the late Dane Leimbach, an employee for Kawasaki, I miss that guy)
2004 CRF 250R
2005 KLX 110 (bought off my buddy for $100 a week for 15 weeks when he joined the army)
2005 CRF 450R (Traded my KLX 100 and $600 for this. This is the first race bike I bought on my own)
2008 YZ 250t (bought in 2011, stolen in 2012)
2013 YZ 450F (bought with insurance check from the 08 being stolen)
2006 YZ 125 (bought this in 2012, and I've since overhauled it to be my race bike of today 144)
2006 YZ 125 (bought last month, gave it to my 16 year old brother)

Best bikes:
96 king prototype
2006 yz 125/144
2008 yz 250

Worst bikes:
98 KTM 60. Broke 5 frames, 3 head pipes. KTM replaced everything, that was cool.
2001 RM125, this bike we could never keep running.
13 yz 450 I hated that bike. Sold it with 10 hours on it, thing wouldnt turn for shit.

Would of thought by now we would have seen someone listing all of 1 brand. I try to stay loyal to Yamaha or Honda but I have to say I was thinking of a KX or RM after my surgery if all goes well.

Honestly though, like Georgieporgie said, I need to thank my parents for getting my first 3 bikes. If it wasn't for them id probably of never gotten into it. Its my life now but how many of us find this sport on our own? Most of us are born into a family that rides or has friends that got us into it. My story is no different, my dad rode and so he picked me up a bike one day and the rest is history. I live, breath, and eat this sport now, its in my veins thoroughly!

Oh wow... here goes...these are in chronological order, which makes it a little weird with the years but sort of explains how all over the place I am as far as restorations, etc. I am in fact a bottom feeder, out of all of those, only THREE were purchased new, the last being in 1995.

70-ish Z 50 Mini Trail
1976 GT 80
1972 AT1 125
1977 YZ 80
1979 YZ 125
1980 KX 125
1985 RM 125
1985 YZ 80
1988 KX 80 (Frame broke after about a month from brand new, POS!!)
1986 CR 125
1987 CR 125 (Actually two of these, my first in 1988 and a restoration in 2014)
1989 YZ 125 (FAVORITE -- MY FIRST WIN)
1990 YZ 250
1985 RM 125 (was going to race non-current class when I was in college but the POS kept blowing up)
1995 RM 125
1994 KX 125
1999 KX 250
2003 KTM 200 SX
2005 CRF 450 (Probably second favorite)

2009 RMZ 450
1994 KX 250 (restoration)
2006 CRF 450
1987 CR 125 (restoration)
1990 YZ 125 (unrestored, like new, couldn't resist!)
2012 RMZ 450 (current bike)
2004 YZ 125 (my kids bike, at least that's what I tell my wife)
1978 YZ 400!
