I have a 17, but from the 18 to the 19 there a little bit of a difference, 19 has a revised frame and swing arm being the really big change. But pretty much everything interchanges mines been a good bike

Yea it would be great if it picks up like the kawi thread. I cant believe the diffrence I see in pricing from the west coast to the east coast on bikes though. On the 19 crf 450 I'm around $8200 otd even lower if I I goto ny. Theirs a dealer that's blowing 19 kaw for $7600 no prep or hidden fees. Crazy how it can differ so much

I paid $9,007 otd for mine. Probably could have found cheaper but the dealer is 10 mins from my house and I wanted to keep it local

It would be smarter to bump the 27 page thread that is already about the 17+ CRF450

18 model. Excellent bike, instantly became a top 3 favorite bike owned in 4 decades of riding.

Bump. In the market for a new 450. Can't decide what one; 18 RMZ450 (due to price) or 19 CRF450 or 19 Husky FC450.

Is that the Costco in San Juan Cap? That's a great price for here! Basically knocking off all the normal dealer charges, of freight/handling and set-up! May have to drop by and check it out.

Whats the price difference? Should be $2500+ difference. To me thats a tough choice. Ive ridden all three and own the rmz right now.
Depends what your looking for. Strong snappy power - crf little rigid feeling also, husky smoooooth bottom to top and easy/light feeling. Forks get a c+ rest of bike is a+. Rmz is super mellow and easy to ride. I like the suspension better on it than the husky... Id say the clutch, and brakes are a c compared to the huskys a+.

Overall cant really go wrong, if u have ridden any of them before or sat on tnem, go with what feels right. Thats a hard feeling to chase some times.

Haven't ridden any new bikes. I currently ride a 14 YZ450. Leftover new 18 RMZ450 is going for $5799 plus tax, title and fees. 19 CRF450 $9299 plus tax, title and fees, 19 FC450 $9899 plus tax, title but no fees at a certain dealer. I'd like to give Suzuki my business, price is just awesome and the issues can be fixed for approx. $1k- suspension mainly. Which lands the RMZ total cost around $7500. Can't beat that.

Coming from a 14 YZ450 myself, the RMZ would be the better choice if you like your yz.

I cant get over how much more you guys in cali pay for bikes than us!!! The rmz 18 I could get for $5500 otd. Why dont you buy the bike from nj or ny and have it shipped? Shipping cant be that bad? You still will be saving yourself probably $1500? I just had a Polaris rzr shipped from Kentucky and I paid $650 (I saved $5k from buying in Kentucky vs nj Lol)

For the price it’s hard to beat Rmz450, some ppl hate the suspension or hear bad things about the shock but with the money saved you could revalve or you could drop in a set of Öhlins Fork Inserts (same exact stuff that’s in there Rfx Fork) and the flow shock for 2200-2500, then your already got pretty much a kit stuff

I just bought a left over 18 crf450 2 weeks ago ($7550 otd). So far only put 0.7 hrs on it at an indoor track so don’t have the best gauge of it yet, but so far I’m really impressed. I did come off an old 09 kx450 but I have ridden new ktms and to me the Honda feels narrow like a ktm but a bit longer feeling. The throttle is so connected to the rear tire on the Honda. Suspension is great obviously. The real test will come when I take it to Durhamtown the last weekend in March. Can’t wait to try it out on an outdoor track.

I’d add in a hydro clutch and radiator braces.

If I had to do it over again I would buy a left over RMZ in an instant. I love my CRF450 but RMZ are so cheap and so good looking I wouldn’t be able to resist.

At the cost it's difficult to beat Rmz450, some ppl despise the suspension or hear awful things about the stun yet with the cash spared you could revalve or you could drop in a lot of Öhlins Fork Inserts (same definite stuff that is in there Rfx Fork) and the stream stun for 2200-2500, at that point your as of now got essentially a pack stuff https://ovo.fyi/youjizz/ https://ovo.fyi/pornhub/ https://ovo.fyi/tubegalore/

I've been on Yamaha's the last three years (16 YZ250F, 17 YZ250F, 18 YZ450F) and I can say that the 2017 Honda was one of the most comfortable bikes I've ever ridden in my life. Suspension was super smooth for stock and just felt wicked. I tried a 2017 Husky the same day and I did not enjoy it at all. I used to ride Suzuki's for a long time and they always felt very comfortable to me and reliable.

I just purchased my first Honda on Friday a 2019 CRF450. I am beyond excited to get out and try it once the snow melts.

...zuks price point is hard to beat. I almost went back to one just based on the cost alone too.

If the Suzuki was electric start I'd buy one. I have a really bad ankle and kicking a 450 just isnt happening. Lol I'm curious how u like the 19 crf450?.

Bumping this back up. Can't believe this CRF thread is not getting more replies. Maybe nobody is buying Honda 450's any more? But they sure do post about the new Kawi 450! Maybe because it's an all new bike this year. I'm pretty sure I'll buy a RMZ450 over a new Honda. But I really thought I'd see more guys say how well they like or dislike their new Honda's.
