Hello, I’m obviously new here but I’ve been snooping the boards for quite some time.
I got away from riding for a few years but have kept up with the racing a bit. Started watching religiously again in January and haven’t missed a thing. “Spoke with my wallet” and bought a 2016 YZ250F earlier this year and hope to do some races next year.
I thought I’d get my first post out of the way before A1 or before Jeff A. uncovers the drug ring inside MX Sports.
I torque my sprocket bolts every ride, and I’m still looking for a factory ECU if anything has a connection. I have about tree fiddy cash.
Ima go take a nap, bro. I expect this to reach 20 pages by the time I get back. Cheers

Do you have other riders in your head?
If not, you're a goon

That's actually a pretty good intro. Well done...now STFU NOOB!

Sprocket bolts, as you obviously know, are extremely important, but have you set your sag lately? Additionally, what color powerband are you running?

You can’t speak with your wallet and buy a 250f. Edit: bodean beat me to it.

On a lighter note, it appears you are not some incarnation of Tamir though.

Welcome!

I like to break in my forks before I set my sag.
I’m running the purple powerband.
Am I doing it right?

Be careful with the purple power band and a Factory ecu if you can find one. Your bike will be faster than a gsxr1000

That’s what I’m going for. I’m hoping to be able to pop wheelies in first gear

Let's cut to the bone here noob and talk religion. What are your thoughts on the "seat bounce"? Answer carefully young apprentice...the elders judgement is final and forever must you trod the path you choose. If you do perchance run afoul there are two roads to Vital redemption: accurate inside info on JS7 or tons of boobie pics. That's about it....good luck.

Please wash your hands, Mr. Hobo... Furthermore, please take a shower. You smell like a bag of asses.

Grease your muffler bearings religiously. Don’t forget to torque the oft forgotten rotor bolts as well.

Thanks for the advise! Anyone know where I can get a flat head attachment for my torque wrench? I wanna torque my suspention clickers before my next ride. I’d hate for them to come loose.

Right on! I like your proactiveness. You’ll go far here. And I think Harbor Freight may have the attachment you’re looking for with a lifetime warranty!

Local auto parts store. Suspension glue would be another name for sure.
