Nothing special, but paid for with a new top end!

I love the sound. No going back to the thumpers....

Damn.... that Tri-Z is in excellent shape.
Two thumbs up.
I had every year model 250R from 85-89. Still wish i would of kept my 86.
To this day when i see 250R the last thing i think of is a dirt bike.

Accidentally deleted my reply!

But thanks I have all 3 tri-z’s from the 2 years of production altogethera total of 16 3-wheelers my first true loves even though they was banned before I was born!

I didn’t post even a fraction of my toys just a few I had on this new phone already

https://imgur.com/a/IBcP321

Here is the complete set of my z’s

Besides the 1985.5 or 1/2 as some call them the yellow 85 and even more so the 86 red&white have changed from these pics they are old pics really

I enjoy restorations and take much pride in even tiny details both visibly seen and unseen unless someone was to take things apart. Slight ocd I guess.

The 85.5 was in July 2018 issue of dirt wheels mag the others could also make it in now but I enjoy seeing people stre when riding them most of all

I have a 85 atc 250r also but I’m a Yamaha guy I have many Honda atc’s in my collection however.

And many other bikes and quads... along with a major hoard of parts. At least one part for just about anything really.

But keeping things not manufactured anymore that others see as garbage and often donate or sell for next to nothing of the real value I can’t help but stockpile things.

They are working great, I've got a little over an 1hr on the front and 2.5 on the rear. When I had just the rear on I could notice the extra grip because the rear would want to push the front out of rut early. Now that I have the front on its balanced out well. The rubber is very low rebound so under braking in the chop the tire stays planted well.

This is early on before i had a full shop in my garage, the attention to detail is still evident.

Beautiful bike. I've been looking for a single radiator Kx125 for awhile to restore. Yours looks perfect!
