What's everyone's predictions for Qatar? Should be a great GP, almost impossible to call who is going to win in either class.

My predictions are:

MX2- Seewer, Jonass, Paturel
MXGP- Gajser, Cairoli, Desalle

If Herlings turns up and is relatively healthy then I put him in the top 3

Man I really want to see Cairoli ride like he did in the Italian championship. I think Febvre will be back to his 2015 form he was the best guy last year till I think he got hurt? Not sure actually. MX2 will be really interesting with Covington being the only guy to win. I think Gajser will win the MXGGP class, though. No idea about MX2, should be exciting!

Cairoli will be on fire. Also watch out for Jasikonis, he's been crazy fast in the off-season. Van horebeek looked better than he's done in a while. Febrve, Gajser and herlings will be good but not dominant in any way.

I believe Herlings will just be there to salvage some points since he just had surgery on his arm.

Also was impressed of Jasikonis pre-season races so i got him in the top 3 for Qatar.

MX2: 1. Paturel, 2.Jonass, 3.Cervellin
MXGP: 1. Gajser, 2. Cairoli, 3. Jasikonis

I'm so happy the GP season is about the start again! Got my season pass for mxgptv all ready to see as much as i can live Cool

MX2 is such a though call right now, especially with Herlings / Ferrandis / Anstie gone out of the class. I'm having allot of hope on Seewer.. -> 1. Seewer 2. Jonass 3. Prado

MXGP I'm feeling Cairoli, he looked so good in all the pre-season stuff! But Qatar often surprises, few years ago Nagl totally destroyed the field so you never know. -> 1. Cairoli 2. Gajser 3. Van Hoorebeke

I can't wait!!! Cairoli vs Gajser for 1st place. Herlings will catch up as soon as his hand heals.

Is livestream worth the $?

Don't get your hopes up too much about the results of the pre-season races. Jasikonis won't be on the podium in Qatar, and I doubt he will make it anywhere during the season. It's his first full year, so if he manages to get top 10s he will have a great season. I place him around 15th position at the end of September.

So, for next week:

MX2
1. Seewer
2. Jonass
3. Paturel

MXGP
1. Febvre
2. Gajser
3. Cairoli

Entry List has been updated too. No De Dycker and no Searle at Qatar.

Yep just noticed that. Bummer for Searle. Guess he'll be back in Argentina, that gives him a month or so

Here are the updated entry lists:

I agree with you that he is back, and I would love to see him win Qatar. But he has never won a GP there. That is the only reason I didn't pick him for the win

Covington is a contender for the podium for sure, it seems like he excels in the non Europe races.

Tonus is MXGP?

Also, how do they come up with numbers over there? Just pick whatever?

Tonus comes in with #4....interesting.

MXGP: Cairoli, Van Horebeek, Febvre(I see a crasch for Gajser)
MX2: Paturel, Jonass, Seewer(Prado will lead both motos for a while)

Those picks are just guessing. I don't have a clue really, just like it should be. Cant't wait for it to start!!!

It's good to see such an even spread of manufacturers in the MXGP class (if you consider KTM and Husqvarna to be separate manufacturers).

MX2 I think Mewse and Sanayie are going to be contenders as well hit and miss. Seewer is a favorite along with Jonass.

MX1 will be a AC, JH show most of the year, I think early rounds could see Nagl, Gajser, Stribos being in the mix too.

Cant wait for this to start, I am almost tired of watching supercross already, this will be a breath of fresh air. :D

I got Gajser and Jonas for the titles.

If AC wins here that would be big, I know historically he does not do all that well at Qatar for his standards of course.
Ill go with Gasjer for the win for now, to hard to predict and thats a great thing.
Jonas for the 250's on paper you would think he is the one to do it.

From what i heard De Dycker opted out to compete in the overseas races, was racing VLM last weekend.
