I personally dont like the looks of the slater skins but they are 100X better looking then they were a few years back. Still dont like the look over stock plastics though

Because of that "fugly" plastic, that team was able to secure an outside the industry sponsor to fund their efforts.

Think outside the box.

Or, the sport can just keep the same thing as always and we can just bitch and complain there is no money in the sport.

Don't go bringing logic around here. People can't take it. A small logo on a fender isn't enough to attract sponsorship dollars. They want their logo prominently displayed so people can see it and begin to recognize it. Without increasing the size of the area for logos to be displayed, the return on investment isn't enough to keep potential sponsors interested.

Look at the energy drink companies. People complain about their logo being everywhere, but that's a stipulation that the sponsor puts forth in order to justify their dollars. They're making sure their logo appears everywhere and is recognizable.

The slater skins concept is simply increasing marketable advertising space. It may not to be visually appealing, but people here are talking about it and they're getting sponsorship dollars. I'd say their plan is working out well.

No different than using hand guards
Justs connects in the middle.
Great for protection keeps controls clean and secure from crashes but most of all it pays for my team to go racing. Haters will hate no biggy we are doing something not very many people get to do.

Orders are coming in riders who understand it takes money and an ROI to keep racing love it.
Woods guys also.
Anyhow enjoy I know we are

Really the front isn't that bad. IMO it'd look much better if you made the hand guards a little bigger, and scooped down the middle. Add 1/4" to the hand guard area, curved down to the center.... say 3/4" lower than it is.

Adding some vents would be a great idea as well. Hard lines off them.

Also, copy KTM and run the front brake line behind the plate.

When I was racing, I'd have worn a clown suit with Bozo hair if Ringling Bros. was going to pay my way to the races.
