The video looks like it's being shot with a .22....Although the people I ride with don't shoot guns at me ...still.....pretty impressive!

While cool, I think the bigger issue presented in motocross is a larger rock hitting the goggle and pushing the lens out of place rather than a bb/pellet sized rock shooting through the lens into your eyes.
Googles look good.

Impressive none the less.
They mention the lens are all the same. You industry insiders know if theyll keep that going forward? And how do they fit us big nose folks?
Pit Row
If I can find the information again, I will post a link to it, most goggles except Oakley and Smith are made by the same manufacturer over seas.
If you have raced with iridium lenses, you are not going back.
I switched from 100% to Scott Prospects because I wanted a more secure lense. I race Hare Scrambles and deal with rocks and tree limbs from time to time. The lense seemed more secure on the Prospects so I ended up going that route.
I was able to physically handle the lens as well as the frames of the new Leatt Goggle. The lens is a solid preformed unit that is remarkably similar to the Oakley lens. Very stout very thick. The frame is very nice but has a simialr feel to a "larger" 100% style goggle. If that makes sense. Lense changes are exceptionally quick and intuitive. Once the lens is in the frame, it feels like a very solid unit. THe out riggers are fixed, so that may be a turn off for some. That is one aspect of my Prospects that I do like.
The foam is very thick and dense. I tried them on with a Bell Moto 9 Flex and found fit to be just fine with a size large.
The roll off system offers a pretty large field of view. Not too far off from the prospects.
The strap for the goggles are also very large. Very similar to the Scotts and Oakleys. ALso the foam is very easy to remove as well as replace.
I will be changing over to them once my dealer gets them in stock.
These are just my general observations and opinion. Seek them out and I think many of you will be quite surprised.
