Leatt GPX brace part needed.....

I bought one of the braces when they first came out - used it for three seasons - then took a couple of years off for non-mx medical reasons - came back to riding and my buddy broke the part you clamp with your finger...problem is Leatt does not make parts for the GPX anymore.....at least that what their customer service told me.

Any one out there in the MX community have a clamp-thumb-release-dohicky they want to sell ?
Or some advice.....
