I picked up a 2018 kx250f for a great deal yesterday to go with my green family. Now to decide on my 16 450, convert the air forks to spring or sell and pick up a 19 when they come out?

Thats the black mamba smoker. It does have a flo green front end however. If only they made flo green shrouds for the 125/250

A little off topic but does your KX feel small? I’ve always wanted a KX125 but I’m 6’2” and they look like 85s

I noticed the same thing on a buddies KX. My 13 Ktm 250sx feels bigger and better in all aspects right away. Obviously a newer bike but the ergonomics are better. Try a Husky aswell don't sleep on those!

My kx 125 sits pretty tall to me. But I'm also 5'10. But it sits taller than my 450 and 250

Yeah the struggle is real when looking at what they are listed for. The bad part is I only have 7 hours or so if that on mine plus the pipe and all my comfort parts that I won't have anything to show for it if I do end up selling it. Realistically, what do y'all think the 'slightly' used 16s-up are selling for?

I think the Kawi is the best Japanese bike for a tall guy. I’m just shy of 6’1” and have tons of room on my 16 KX450F. I moved the bars forward one setting from stock and moved the pegs down. Very comfy. Seem to be a more roomy bike than my 13 YZ250.

Mine has about 25 hours on it maybe? I don’t run an hour meter but I am on my fifth five gallon pail of Fuel so I figure that’s about right. I am seeing anywhere here in the Vegas SoCal area from 4800 for a pretty well worn to 5600 for a low hour all stock bike. I am somewhere in the middle and will list for 5200 and hope for about 5ish... I hope. I hate selling stuff in general so maybe I keep it and just get the 19 anyway... then I’ll have 3 Kawis too and really piss the wife off!

I'm 6'1" and the cockpit definitely feels more cramped on my '04 KX125 as compared to my '15 KX450. People say it looks like I'm riding a 85 for sure. My 125 has stock pegs and clamps with oversize bar mounts. I'm trying to source a set of 15+ air forks with triple clamp to put on the 125, which will allow me to slide the bar mounts forward and hopefully open the cockpit up more.

My 2005 KX125 is a little bit smaller than my 2005 KX250 if that helps.

OP, Smith Bros., (whatever the south Huntsville shop is called now) or other shop?

I’m 6’6” tall and I have an 03 kx125 and I love it but I run the tall hard seat foam. I do run RC low bend bars as well. That being said I rode my brother 06 yz125 and that thing has the worst layout for a tall rider ever
