Almost all of the pro racers are so small. I hear people talk about how "big" Mookie or whatever rider is and I'm like....I ate breakfast with the guy in the motel and he's fit as hell but tiny. By today's standards, DeCoster was a giant.

Track crew was generous with the water hose. There's puddles in some spots of the track now, necessary due to wind-weather. -TWMX

No shit, I remember seeing bowers on the starting line and he looked enormous compared to everybody else. He towered over everyone on the gate. But he's only like 6'1 or 6'2 supposedly.
