After his comment to RV about 94's riding style vs RC's ("...pound it faster harder longer....uh....") is there any way we can get him in the booth for SX?

Langston may have sold a lot of Fly gear today with all the mentions of the 2015 stuff during the 450 race.Tongue

Opinions are funny haha I actually thought he dropped off a little since round 1. Still enjoy having him up there though, I hope he keeps it up for a few years.

He's no David Bailey. I am almost missing Emig.

Ralph has the "nascar tone" to his voice, which is what the suits think they need as a commentator. I think Ralph does a good job despite that. To me his voice suits the action and doesnt distract me from the action. Just my opinion. Id kill to have david bailey doing color again.

He needs to calm down and think more before speaking. He is making some sentence mistakes and saying things that don't make sense. I noticed it quite a bit this race.

"That was a pretty vicious crash considering they both got up"

That doesn't make any sense. He needs some work and some training but he's doing pretty good overall but definitely needs some work.

I like them both in the booth, but Grant has played the "turn down for what" completely out, and Weege giggles like a ferry every time he talks. But if those are the only gripes I have they're doing an awesome job. Sure as hell better than Ralph.

I enjoy Langston - and while I also think Ralph does a fine job, having Langston replace him would be a fun experiment.

I rather enjoyed Villo in the booth yesterday. Had some great insight. Unsure

When I first heard the news that Emig was out and GL was the new man in I was kinda pissed because I really liked Fro, but GL has really been awesome.

One day, people on this board will understand the difference between the two guys in the booth.

Langston is doing okay but he and Weege are not in the same class as Eckman and Bailey. Just my opinion of course.

Langston is a breathe of fresh air in the booth. I hope he sticks around and gravitates to SX. Oddly Villopoto was interesting to listen to also. Someone else said the same earlier. We actually received some real information yesterday about Villopoto also instead of extreme vagueness. Yeah I know, being out the entire series allows him to speak more freely I guess.

I hope it was only a flashback and Lurch wasn't actually at Red Bud. . I've been going to races for over 40 years and did just fine without screaming at the start. Can Weege and Langston put in an electronic filter so I don't have to hear Lurch screaming in the background please? (insert expletives here) Isn't 17 SX races enough WWF style theatrics?

Am I alone in this or does anyone else find it more than a little over the top? For the SX fans (who the majority of don't ride) I can stomach it but for the legions of hardcore MX fans that make the treks to the Nationals is it really necessary?

It would be difficult to find someone who is more "core moto" than Langston. Consider that his life is announcing, a motorcycle dealership, involvement in Rockwell....That qualifies as core.

The fact that he is not the typical announcer is a plus to me.

He's doing a great job and RV did well too. I like that RV showed some of his true personality, made me think he has recharged his batteries again.

Perhaps the best SX announcing team in the booth would be Weege replacing Ralph and Emig and Langston filling in the gaps. Emig being more straight laced with Langston keeping it edgy and comical. Weege is doing a great job holding down the fort in the outdoors and he's quickly becoming the voice of motocross in my opinion.

Nice job Grant...you're killing it this year.

There is no reason for that screaming at the nationals...completely unnecessary and dumbs down the hard work and athleticism of the riders and teams to the level of a demolition derby.
