http://www.srac.org/tracks.cfm Berthoud is good when prepped and I think they do Thursday prep but not sure, Wed evening they have some night practice and or races at wildrat in the springs. Check the web sites of the tracks just to be sure. Prepped Track Days:Berthoud Saturday, Sunday Holidays: $15:00 per rider Thursday (During Daylight Savings Time): $15:00 per rider Prepped Track Family Discount: $14.00 each (Family discount for two or more family or more members practicing at the same time)

Berthoud off of I-25 is about an hour-15 north of Lakewood. Good track. Lots of it, too. I'll be up there Wednesday night...the guy on the Service Honda #6. If you're there, stop by and say hello.

It was a blast last Wednesday even with the blue groove and loose dry stuff. That loose stuff still has lots of traction, but many riders are afraid to move off that blue groove.

Yeah it's always fun...I just like to practice more when it's prepped like it is during the races. Hey did you ride there on last Sat? I was out there from about 9 - 1. Riding with the humidy was great! track was so tacky!

Yeah, I was there. So was Cygnus and another friend of ours. I think I got there at about 10, and I stayed until maybe 4? What's really cool about that place is that when they shut the big track down, you can always go out back and stretch your legs on those old-school tracks.

What bike ya got? I'll look for ya next time. I'm easy to spot. Again, #6 Service Honda.

I have a crf450 # 930. Yeah I enjoy the hare scramble track too. Also those figure 8's back there are great for cornering. Can't make it out this week but I am thinking early Sat before heading to Thunder Valley.

I'll say hi for sure if I see you next time.

Watch out if you go on the north track. They are reworking the last section before the double double (before the HS timing gate.) And there are sill puddles in the longer whoop section.

There are puddles all over the back tracks. Man-up and blast through them for a fresh line. When in doubt...PIN IT!!!!

Hey Dennis.. All above great suggestions..

I would agree, berthoud thursday prep night is your best bet.. The dirt is great groomed, it's sticky and way fast.. Track has some elevation changes that would help prepare you for the elevation changes at Lakewood.. Also by getting out by thursday will give you a couple days to acclamate to the elevation.. Gforce is the closet parts shop for Yamaha and Kawasaki from Thundervalley.. Best shop is Vickery in Aurora as they care the most parts in stock.Hope that helps. I will be around early if you need any help in the pits or during your qualifying..

Just send me an email.. advernets@gmail.com Also let me know if you still need that website setup..

Yeah berthoud is fun, I prefer watkins , as they have a few more doubles and rythm sections. IMI is awesome as awell , alot of rythm sectons and doubles. All 3 are excellent choices. Ill be out at watkins on thursday, ridng my 09 kx250f Smile

Ill try to make it down that way sometime, all of the other tracks are with in 40 min of my house, so it would have to be a weekend , when I have more time. On the weekdays I have to work til 2 then I head to the track for some evening riding.
