Seems to me like it was played down this year. What's up with that? It is usually a short show feature all by itself. The only thing I saw was the backside landing of it and comments when someone didn't do it.

Not much to talk about since they shortened the runaway to hit it and now only 450s can do it safely. BORING.....

As it should be. Much less spectacular when everyone can do it.

Top 250 guys were hitting it quite a bit. Honestly I am fine with obstacles that seperate the riders. Otherwise its like another cookie cutter SX track. The run has been cut down alot over the years, plus it gets rough as shit before it too.

The whole point of a double jump was the give an advantage to the brave few who could do it.

Doubles that everybody can do merely dictates that everyone goes the same speed.

Not sure what you want Weege and GL to say about it. Keys to the Race maybe? Grinning

I recall they joked about it with AC every time someone came up short. "Looks like he got 90% on that one..." It got plenty of airtime...pun intended.

I thought the layout was perfect...a reward for those willing to send it. Very RedBud.

I liked that the 250's were able to make it. It's boring when they all decide that the double - single is the safest best way.

Does anyone know the story behind it being called "the parking lot jump"? and why it may be controversial?

Apparently it has something to do with Emig's disdain for Laracco. Guess he still isn't over getting kicked in the head by him.

I would have liked to see some different angles other than downsiding it.

Standing next to it..it’s just crazy. Watching AP ring that 250 out to make it was awesome.

2017, no 250s were doing it in the race except for Savagty and a few other guys early in moto 1; otherwise, they were scrubbing hard over the double-single. It's cool to watch those guys wring the thing out to clear out, but more than a few times I thought "oh dear." Curious for the layout for MXdN.
