I snuk in @ the broome qualifier with the 7th spot in the +45 class to go to Unidilla for the regional. then I read this and am very excited::: Unadilla is pleased to announce that we have been selected by MX Sports to host the Northeast Amateur Regional Qualifier on June 19-20, 2010.

If that weren’t exciting enough, the 2010 Regional will be run on Unadilla’s pro track. This will be the first time since 1999 that amateur MXers will have a chance to race on one of the premier tracks in the country. “We are thrilled to have been selected to run a crucial race in the road to Loretta Lynn’s” stated Unadilla’s Greg Robinson. “While we are used to hosting large amateur events, this one will have the added excitement of exposing racers to the challenges faced by pro-level racers.

You are in for a real treat. Wish I knew that they were doing this. May have tried (most likely unsuccessfully) to qualify. Had the pleasure of riding the pro track in '98 and '99 (I believe it was the Northeast Classic). Really was a dream come true as I have attended races there since '78. Nothing like dropping into Gravity Cavity. Have fun and be safe!

Well....since 2002. I think that was the last time amateurs had an opportunity to ride the pro track. (Parts Unlimited Ride Day Monday after the pro national.)

But that is very cool to hear they are running the pro track for the Regional!
Sucks that the Budds Creek national is on the same weekend. Ugh!

Nice work-- the Vet classes are very fast these days.
It's basically the Northeast vs. Dubach, May, and Walker. That's your competition in the Vet classes.
