RMZ 450[/b[b]]- 60bhp -9.9 = 50.1bhp
Your BHP loss computed from your BHP of 60 at sea level and Elevation of 5500 feet is 9.90 HP loss.
KTM 350 55bhp -9.08 = 45.92bhp

Oh yeah, there is a plus to the 4-strokes: you don't have to mix the gas.
The MX community has been fooled into buying these things through millions of dollars of advertisement, and with the widening wealth gap in America (the few richer getting richer, mostly poorer getting poorer, with the vanishing of the middle class), how is this sport ever going to grow when most people can't afford it these days?
I use to ride that place and those hills, altitude, and sand can really suck the hp. On the other hand (as you pointed out) some of those off camber downhills might prove to be much easier on the 350F as they are tricky on a heavy fast bike.
95% rider, 5% bike huh? LOL. Not at this level dude. The rider and the bike have to both be 100% to get results and even the tiniest of equipment advantages can translate into improved positioning on the track.
My concerns about the 350 were just QUESTIONS and THOUGHTS about the Lakewood National and MXoN, but mainly the concerns of the guys riding them. Nothing more and nothing less. I personally think the 350 is a great idea. The best one since the 4-stroke came about.
Now go work on your reading skills!
I think this guy is so use to people dogging KTM, he just assumed I was too and commented. lol
