Considering doing it on my 2016 125 sx. Has anyone done it. How good are they and is it worth it. Also if you dont mind. How much did the setup cost. I have cone valves on my 250f and i want to see if its worth doing those or the kyb conversion on it.

$1200 to modify stock forks, ouch!

WP AER forks, $2250. Sell them when you're done with them and they probably only cost you a few hundy.

No, but the Internet says so. Now everyone needs to spend 1- 2.5k on suspension.

I got WP Cone Valves for $2,200. Way better bang for your buck if you can find a used set.

I am doing kyb convertion (full fork) on my 2011 model, and its very cheap and easy do.

you need a 0,4mm thick clamp spacer. or xtrig whit crf bore
ktm380 wheel spacer that you grind the smaller lip.
shorten the none break side of a 2011 wheel spacer.
you need a crf front wheel bolt
26x47x7mm oilseal

put the 380 spacer into the 2011 spacer.

mount the lower side of the bracket of the ktm break on the kyb forks . whit spacer to center caliper.
Drill a hole in the brak bracket to fit the upper hole make threads and spacer ca 5,4mm

Where did you get them for so cheap. I bought a set of used ones for a little more and there on my 250 fe, and i love them. If i can get a set for that price sprung and valved for me id buy them in a second.

Not to throw this thread off track. But to find good deals just keep checking craigslist in So Cal and eBay.

Back on topic, I was going to do the KYB swap and that is a great deal for only $1200 give or take...

Exactly^^^

That $1,200 included a set of almost new 2012 SSS complete fork set. Not bad at all for a conversion!
