It seems as though they’d be to 2 strokes what the ktm350f’s are to 4 stroke. Why don’t they make them anymore?
Beta are making a new 200 in Enduro spec,
The Shop
everyone and their mom jumped on 4 strokes at that time and they were the new thing and easy to ride. also KTM dumped a bunch of money into their 250 program at the time as well.
also back in 09?11? when ktm did a huge redesign on the 125 the cases got smaller and meant you couldn't put a big enough piston in anymore as they ran the 200xc for some time
Just bought a 19 TE150 and 19 TE300. Havent rode either yet still in the crates. My ole 200 which feels light compared to my 500s. Now feels like a tank compared to the 125. This 125 being a 16 I can use the 200 crank and cy to make a semi modern 200. But gonna leave it as is. Too much fun. Plan to do a cy head and maybe a Lectron on the TE150. Hard to beat the smaller bikes in rocky desert terrain. Now with the 2020 TPI 150s. Sounds all neat and new but being able to jet a carb isn't a bad thing. Or have carb options.

I'm interested in how that works out.
I’ve got a 2014 model with the electric start as a spare backup bike, Girlfriend has been learning to ride it along with my youngest son who’s getting back into riding.
Don’t think I’d ever sell it.
Fugging love that thing.
On thing- for moto the gearbox spacing is a little goofy. Most people tend to gear up to get the spacing to seem right.
I went way down - 13/52. Works just about right. Such a fun bike to ride!!!
Pit Row
Raced an ‘03 200sx back in the day after outgrowing the kx100. That bike was awesome. Had an ‘03 at the time as well.
