I don't usually start threads or make predictions but I have a feeling that Kenny will have a very good weekend. If Eli is still discombobulated, Marvin may play safe, and Kenny is free to run wild. This is based on my hopes and nothing valid whatsoever....like a trip to the casino. I have terrible gambling luck so I'm probably totally wrong.

Mount Martin will do a number on his arm. He’ll top 5 but nothing better imo

But he's always been one of the best at charging those hills. I think the last year he raced at Milly he made a lot of passing by flying past people on the downhill.

That being said, Eli is going to come out swinging. He's always good at Millville and barring another mechanical, I think he's going to clean house.

Yup, Kenny for the win!!!

He’s also had two gruesome arm injuries since he last raced there

True but I guess my point is that he's always stood above most on those factors. So even with the injuries, if they do affect him, it'll just bring him back to everyone else's speed on the hills.

He's been great all year.

I hope Kenny wins. I’ll be in attendance. That 2016 first lap from Kenny was insane. Now here’s where someone helps out a guy on mobile and embeds that vid.

Glen Helen Mt Saint Helen, Thundervalley, and Mt Morris didn’t affect his performance too badly.

I agree it would seem like his arms would affect his downhill prowess. But I think so far it has more affected his willingness to push his limit and force the bike places in traffic, or over jumping a section, or just sending it with a scrub. He’s riding extremely calculated everywhere.

Yeah Kenny has always been good at Millville. But Eli has been pretty damn good too. Was it his rookie year he went 1-1 on the Honda? Then his first season on the kawi didn’t he win?

I think Ken is gonna be pretty good. Hopefully the win last time out and the week off was beneficial for him.

Nah Kenny dominated in 2016 (Tomac’s first Kawi year) but in 14 yeah Tomac and Kenny battled it out with Tomac winning. Last year Tomac crashed and Marvin won.

Eli won it in 12 (250), 13 (250), and 14 (450), missed 15 with injury and finished 3rd in 16 and 17.

He has done well there.

Kenny crashed out of the lead while battling Eli in 13, got 3rd in 14 (450), 4th in 15, and won in 16. Did not race last year.

Marvin has done surprisingly good there as well.
250 class: 2nd in 13, 2nd in 14, 4th in 15.
450 class: 2nd in 16 and 1st in 17.

In 50 years people will look at record books for each track and think holy shit that Carmichael guy must have been amazing at this track. Then they realize that from 00-06 nearly all tracks are the same.

Marv and Kenny will have nothing for Eli

So true.

Besides maybe Washougal and Unadilla he was practically undefeated everywhere.

Legend.

Would love in my heart of hearts to see KRoc win but if Eli rides like last week never happened I'm afraid he's pretty hard to bet against

So true. And Lechien won the big bike class in '84 and then dropped down to 125s in '85 and won that class. You don't see that these days...
