I’ve had this ‘73 CL350 for about 15 years. I let it sit up too long and the carbs got gummed up. Instead if rebuilding them I replaced them with new Mikuni’s from Speedmoto. Runs better than ever now.

Man does that bring back memories. Mine looked the same but it was a '72. Parents thought dirt bikes were dangerous so they got me one of those.

That’s a good looking bike!
Honda sold millions of these 350’s. There is nothing wrong with cutting one up. I put drag bars on a CL175 and the owner of the Honda shop gave me a look and told me to put the stock bars back on it. I told him no one put me in charge of preserving them.

I always like the styling of the SL-350.

A little info on the 350s.

The Sears tire appears to be from Carlisle Tire & Rubber (the Trials Universal pattern) and was a popular dirt track tire. It did resemble a Pirelli (probably not a coincidence) also used in flat track. Sears sold Gileras and an interesting Puch motorcycle as Allstates.

Carlisle left the motorcycle side of the business in 1986.

More finished bike pictures, Please!

Street Trackers are fantastic things.

Practical / comfortable riding position, and, if done well, they are fine handling.

I spent a few decades on 'clip on'd ' bikes - Bevels and various Pantah based bikes - TT2 and TT1s specifically.

But, I no longer fit rearsets, so, my TT2s / 1s I've got parts to make up, well, might keep one, might do one up to the 'nth' degree, as you can get a lot for one (to pay for a Desert X, if it comes out) and the other I'll lengthen the frame and swingarm, and do up as a nice little Street Tracker.
