They're adjustable for that reason. Slide more for quicker power pick up, tighter for slower power pick up

Welcome to the world of the Hot 50. Get ready to work on that puppy all week so it can break on Saturday.

You have 3 options.

1 Sell it and get a PW50

2 Sell it and run a trail class

3 Sell it and get a 65

Yeah, ktm50, worst bike in production. Unfortunately not much choice in 50 class. It would be great if they got rid of them all together and just went back to pw's

We've got a 2016 50sx mini. My boy likes the clutch on about 8 clicks from all the way in. We've not had a single issue with this bike and have raced it at least 30 times. It's been a solid bike for us.

Read the Manual it is actually very informative. A KTM and a PW are two different worlds, a PW was designed to ride around in your backyard and KTM was designed to be a competition race bike.

Yep they are designed to be adjusted.

Put my little man on his brand new coming from a JR50. Just sitting in the pits the amount of revs it built up before it even started to move was crazy for him and his eyes lit up wide.

We quickly adjusted to it engaged a little earlier and have not touched it since.

We are just on the 50 SX Mini, have left it dead stock apart from the clutch adjustment and a quarter turn on the air screw. Has ran faultlessly and only gone through one spark plug since buying the bike around the start of March this year.

Will jump up to the 50 SX hopefully around March next year Smile
