Was leading +50 and ended up 3rd after a crash with 1 lap to go after being away from the Ranch for 9 years. I was wondering if the announcers were going to make mention of his indiscretions and Kevin Kelley did it perfectly saying "I bet someone got a video of his crash. There are perfectly positioned cameras everywhere".

WOW!

He manned up and faced his past. I wasn't sure if he was going to say anything or just pretend like nothing ever happened. HUGE respect from me for addressing the issue. I'll always have respect and forgiveness for anyone willing to own his mistakes, change his heart, and try to be a better person.

Could have been just a regular "house party", just responding from memory of the shit storm that ensued. I also recall, for as much as I cared to follow the details, that he claimed his intent was to record his wife using the bathroom because he was addicted to porn and he and his wife were kinky like that. Something happened and she didn't go in and some kids did before he could remove the hidden camera. That was the excuse I remember being put out, but I'm not an expert on the details for the arrest.

Yeah but Slip, nuance doesn't exist here.....

For anyone that doesn't get it- I'm not condoning his actions, I'm commending him for rehabilitating himself and facing the fears of judgment, and he atones for his past every day he wakes up, and in his eyes he still has to face his maker upon death from this world.

If any of you internet warriors are so offended and pissed off from Kevin's mistakes, I can tell you where to find him all week. You could even live update us from your phone on your road to Loretta's on the forum here, and then tell us about the royal ass kicking you dished out. Strike on sight, right?

I’m not trying to argue with you, but the story above reads like a kid from the home found the backpack and gave it to his parents and there were footage of kids changing on the video.

Back in the early 2000's, I was racing at Birch Creek in VA. I crashed and broke my collarbone. The ambulance had to wait until another one showed up before leaving for the hospital. Before the 2nd one showed up, Kevin broke his leg (maybe femur). When they got him into the ambulance with me, they started trying to take care of him and he responded, take care of him first.

While I don't condone what he did with the video camera, the guy has done his time and faced the charges. Im sure he has thought a lot about his actions and would hope he is a changed man.

There’s a big difference between the guy doing it at a kids party, which makes it sound completely different rather than him being at a college party, drunk, and someone daring him to do something stupid

No one knows exactly what happened so I wouldn’t crucify the guy but I wouldn’t say he’s innocent either.

For anyone that has actually talked to him they'll tell you Kevin has always been a little strange even before all this. But in the end he got investigated up one side and down the other and wasn't found as a pedophile by the police.

I don't know Walker. I don't know if he is in to child porn. He is definitely not a hero. He didn't beat cancer or pull people from a burning building. He did something very bad and got caught. I dont feel that he overcame anything or made a great contributionto the world, he just continued living. I definitely don't want to see him lynched.

I was shocked he so openly addressed it on the podium. As someone who has lined up next to him at many local races, I can say that it is strange to be next to him after the arrest. I didn't have any respect for him after all that went down, but I was impressed with his ability to be so open on the podium and discuss it. That takes some serious fortitude to do on tv.

Still don't trust him, but his issues are tough if not impossible to forgive for myself and most other people. I will say props to him for bringing it up and trying to move forward. That I can respect. He has alsways been a little odd, so maybe it was just his way of dealing with it or ??
