Dies of stroke at the young age of 45. Damn. Godspeed to another legend.

RIP Kevin.
One of the nicest guys in BMX. I used to love riding and hanging out at his park. He was always so cool and supportive learning new stuff. That's just way too young. I am really sad right now and my heart goes out to his whole family.

Saw this on Hoffman's Instagram. The dude was a fucking legend. What a sad deal. Leaves a young family behind. Hug your little ones as often as you can.

RIP brother, what a weird deal. I remember watching him quite a bit in X Games as a kid, and I remember how intense he was and how much he put into bmx, it was absolutely what he lived for and I have so much respect for that. If I remember right, at one point he almost lost his leg due to complications (maybe an infection?) from a broken ankle he got cleaning his gutters or something, and he proceeded to come back to X Games and run the mega ramp again! Those old school bmx guys are something else, just crazy that he went out due to a stoke after everything he's done and accomplished.

Very sad. I just read a nice tribute that my good friend Kenan Harkin wrote. RIP Kevin.

RIP Kevin. I had a chance to meet him at a small exhibition many many years ago and he was so nice and outgoing.

Oh man, he always seemed like such a nice guy, and also looked to stay really fit and healthy.
Same age as my brother, that's really sad, but regardless of age, news like this always takes the wind out of your sails.

Ride In Peace Kevin, condolences to his family and friends.
