Kenny Choking?

Disclaimer: I’m a huge Roczen fan..
But why is it that he just can’t get it done?
This week made a last lap mistake handing it to Cooper (for the moto) last week he was running away with it and kinda lost his mojo
Remember last year he almost almost won and made a mistake on the last lap giving it to Anderson.. is it in his head??

Everything is fine. I m a big fan of his new mindset. He said it well: "I do not let my low be too low and my highs be too high".

Actually, there is still a lot left unresolved as he will deal with very soft and rutted tracks in the east.

Tight and technical tracks are a good news for him and especially for Musquin. Not really a good news for Tomac imo.

We'll see.

He could have easily made the jump in the rhythm section where Webb passed him.
It's not like he made a huge mistake. He just went a little out of rhythm and wasn't comfortable anymore to jump onto the table top.
90% of the other top guys would have still sent it. Especially on the last lap with second place right behind you.
Ken didn't take the risk and took a second place. Has nothing to do with choking. He learned that it's a 17 race series and he want to do more than 5 rounds this time

When they hand you the #1 plate at the end of the year nobody really cares what you did at round 3 unless you throw it all away. Ken looks to be staying within himself and taking the longview.

I feel that if the lapper wouldn't have been on the inside on the last corner he would have had better drive into the whoops after squaring the corner up, and would have made it closer.

The guy with the points lead after 3 rounds is choking? Ok.
Lmao. If anyone is choking at this point it's Anderson.
This!! Good to see him just taking the result and move on to next week. It’s a long brutal season. Hope everyone left stays healthy for outdoors

Red Background on the number plates means he is the points leader FYI

Lost his mojo last week? You mean when they took the guy that was the same speed as him, and gave him two seconds because of a red flag? And the guy got up next to him and took him out? I don’t think you can call that losing his mojo.

Yeah he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. But you can't really blame the lapper (Bogle I believe) either, he wasn't in the race line

Justin was caught in an awkward position and was just trying to be polite. I can't imagine what it is like to try to stay out of the way on a SX track.

Not for nothing, but Kenny was squaring Webb up in the final corner. If Bogle wasn’t there on the inside putting around it would’ve been much closer at the line. Kenny is in it for the long haul, he rides much more mature than in the past.

As far as I'm concerned carrying a red plate is the definition of "getting it done".

He's leading the championship over a massively stacked field. I'd say he is doing pretty well!

What is with all these speculation threads?? We have the best supercross season in a long time shaping right before our eyes and all I see is these why is he choking or why is he not winning threads... 3 rounds down, 3 different winners. Everyone is racing for the series and that is their best shot at staying healthy and contingent. So sit back and enjoy the good racing we are getting.

I do agree that there seems to be a pattern of dominating a moto then handing it over on the last few laps. He just needs a win to get this monkey off his back then I think we will see it way less. Dude was flying at A2!!

One Word Response Guy used to have good responses to threads like these before he got cocky and started trying to put sentences together.

This week made a last lap mistake handing it to Cooper (for the moto) last week he was running away with it and kinda lost his mojo

Just to save you some investigation time.

I thumbs down voted this.

So this is what I learned in this amazing thread:

1. The guy that nearly lost his arm and destroyed his hand could have easily made the rhythm section

2. The guy leading the series is choking

He's got the red plate, leading the 450 Supercross Championship.

Choking? Hardly...
