Personally I loved having the two a week races. Obviously there's a ton of hurdles to overcome but I think it would be cool to find a way to continue it in the future. Could be a way to get the extra races feld wants without taking away from the outdoors.

Could do say A1 on Saturday, Phoenix Wednesday, A2 Saturday. Something along those lines. Thoughts?

Loved it. I say don't add extra races though
The other option would be to have an extra week off. So A1, Phoenix, A2. Then skip a saturday. Same number of races over the same timeframe, just mixing up the schedule.

My buddies and I got together for the Wednesday night races, was a good time. Seems to be harder for us to get together Saturday night with family obligations.
Being in one stadium certainly made it easier to pull off,not sure how it would work going from city to city though.
Loved it and would love to see it continue.

Literally impossible unless Feld and Dirt Wurx doubled their crews.

When is Dirtwurx supposed to build everything. They could do this because the dirt was already there, so they just had to rearrange it. If you look at track maps, it sure seems like they planned the tracks to sometimes keep the Finish jump in the same place for two consecutive races. Look at the first three rounds. The start is in the same place and the finish jump is in the same place (reversed direction for 14). Look at the general layout of 13 &14. They took the same layout and rearranged the rhythm sections. Start in the middle, two 90's on the opposite end, and 180s to tie everything together. Same with 15/16. The only way this works is to have them in the same stadium.

It would make more sense to stay at one venue a few rounds, a1 sat, a2 Wed, a3 sat, weekdays off, phoenix 1 2 3, weekdays off, ect ect. Then they would have a longer offseason before outdoors, and in this case people like dungey and villopoto May have stuck around longer

I mean i enjoyed it, was fun to have something racing wise to follow in the middle of the week! As an European another bonus point was that allot of the races where like east coast time zone or day time races, helps allot with being able to watch it live compared to west coast night races!

The more I think of it, the more I like this idea, I noticed teams and riders enjoying the local city more in Utah. My dad was a team manager for a couple years for a privateer team and he said that the grind of the season sucked the fun out of it for him. A 3 race per venue shedule might lighten the load on team members. I understand they would ultimately end up being away from their family’s for longer periods of time tho

As much as I would love to see it, I can't see it happening. I would think attendance would be significantly lower (once spectators are allowed again) and FELD will want to cash in on ticket sales.

I was talking to the girlfriend about it yesterday and she said she likes going to two a year in different cities, but not a chance she'd want to go twice in a week. The only people who would want to go twice in a week are die hard fans/riders and that isn't enough to fill the seats .

If I were a rider I would absolutely hate it and I could see some really bad consequences if they tried to take this route

I enjoy watching on Wednesday, but it would be a crazy and expensive burden on everyone

Riders and crew would essentially live on the road, never going home, never able to test.

Go from, for example, racing at Houston on Saturday, to Houston 2 (wednesday) to Atlanta (Stadium) to Atlanta (Wednesday) to Indy (Saturday) to Indy (Wednesday) and so one and so on

When do they go home? For how long, one night?

The only way this would work is to somehow skip alternating Saturdays in order to race Wednesdays, giving the riders like 10 days off on certain weeks, but then that becomes confusing and will piss off the casual fans

Also, lot more costs to house and feed the team

Some of y’all don’t understand what goes into these race teams so I’ll show you an example...

Saturday-race day/ pack truck up
Sunday- build day/clean truck/ drive Depending on when team finished building
Monday- drive
Tuesday-drive if far race
Wednesday-Arrive to stadium
Thursday-cleaning truck/team arrives to do any work on bike / set up for press day if team is riding/ shopping for team food
Friday- set up for rest of teams and press day / sound testing

Also throw in if the truck has any break downs or needs servicing done into that randomly

Then repeat till September when Outdoors finish

Logistics and travel are definitely obstacles, you'd have to have two track crews. There would be extra costs to the teams, demands on the riders, etc etc. I'm just saying the concept is cool from a fan's perspective and has some positives aspects to it. Are those enough to outweigh the negatives? I dunno.

Say you were aiming for 20 races in 17 weeks. You could do something like this:

Week 1 - Saturday race, Wednesday race (A1, Phoenix)
Week 2 - Sat race (A2)
Week 3 - Sat race
Week 4 - Sat race, wed race (Oakland, San Diego)
Week 5 - no races
Week 6 - Sat race
Week 7 - Sat race, wed race (Indy, Detroit)
Week 8 - Sat race
Week 9 - Sat race
Week 10 - Sat race
Week 11 - Sat race, wed race (Atlanta, Tampa)
Week 12 - no race
Week 13 - Sat race
Week 14 - Sat race
Week 15 - Sat race
Week 16 - Sat race, Wed race (Vegas 1, SLC)
Week 17 - Sat race Vegas 2

Move arenacross to Wednesday nights. Made for TV, prime time racing. Run events within a regional distance to the SX events. Would allow for privateers to run both series and potentially score some cash. Maybe use weekday AX events as qualifiers for Saturday SX similar to Monday qualifiers for golf events. Top "30" in points are exempt, anyone else has to qualify for that week through the AX event.

I'm a HUE fan of midweek races....I say keep it. But not add anymore races. Give the riders a break in between SX/MX.

If they could find a way logistically to do it and condense the season a little I would love it personally.

I reckon they should have two or three rounds of double headers, i.e race sat and wednesday while staying with 17 races.

This would allow more time to have a break mid seaosn and a bigger gap between sx and mx.

I don't think there is available air time in normal times. NBA, College basketball, NHL, and then Baseball tend to fill the weekday Primetime.

I see no point unless they are going to add rounds. Having races closer together with more time off between them does nothing for me.

Too much grind for working spectators on Week nights.

Aslo, teams set up at SLC and remained in place for the 7 weeks. Its a ball ache moving everything, setting up break down, packing the have to do it all over 2 days later.

What if the weeknight races were on a Tuesday night and were an arenacross/amateur series. They could have a real road to supercross and bring ax back. Hell, they could even do a class with 5th on back from the big show lcq’s.
