You'll be surprised. I don't completely blow them on this pod. The 2018 definetly has a different feel to it.

It's on my commute list for tomorrow.
Washed up moto and enduro weekend warrior.

So, is this a...GOOD different feel ? or is it, well, you know.....?
There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear.
Very quick summary...
Better engine, good suspension still, slimmer, same weight, elec start and power turner are awesome, but somewhat still funny handling, though a different funny... Said front end is less planted but the bike tips in easier... more rigid up front.
They did brace the fuck out of the frame and tilt/drop the engine so makes sense I guess... Apparently a lot of Honda guys have swapped the CRF X engine hangers on their 17s and it makes it corner much better, more flex, maybe there is something there?

Hey Keefer, who's your web dude? Those direct links they post on RacerXonline for pulp are pretty handy for this sort of thing, I post a lot of shit like that and iTunes links lick blue balls till they're dry.

Those types of links are easily accessible on PulpMX.com for stuff too, including the Keefer pods.
Here's the direct link for this one
Nice one Marx, I had a very quick look on Keefer tested but doing other shit.

Marx dog woof woof for the win!
How's the cornering keefer? Should we be waiting for the 2018 DRD engine relocation kits and radiator lowering kits?

I will bite on this before I count sheep..... The 18 Yamaha has a lighter cornering feel. "Lighter" on lean in coming into corners and better front end traction through corners. Less vague (push) feeling than 2017. I feel it's better than a 17 with relocation kit on. However would like some of that planted "on gas" front end stability back that the 2017 had. Chassis feels stiffer on straight line. Not 2009 CRF450R stiff so don't freak out
Not turn this to CRF450R talk, but Keefer's findings on that bike were pretty much on point. I was a bit sceptical on removing the lower tank bolts, but it actually has a big impact how the bike handles on choppy stuff. Nice work!
Awesome it's a shitbox.. retail price just got slashed.
Killer work Keefer saving me bulk coin!!
Cant wait to hear this! Thanks for all your hard work Kris!

Great test/review. Thanks for putting this together. I loved the detailed insight and easy-talking style that just flowed.
Keefer is one of the greatest assets to the moto community. I love his contributions. I've thrown RM some love since his pod came out. I just wish there was a way to note that at checkout so they could see a return on that investment.

Keefer:
Great podcast. You do a great job.
All else being even, if you could, would you ride the 17 YZF 17 KTM or 18 YZF at Lorettas?

will the new app have ppm info/adjustment?
If I'm healthy enough to complain. I shouldn't be complaining.
