So I was just listening to Keefers latest podcast
Which is about which used bikes he reccomends
And some bikes he has liked in the past etc
I enjoy listening
But I'm questioning
Some things
Like he said he recommends
A 2012 crf 250r
In the podcast he says because they changed
From from a 50 mil to 46 throttle body from 11 to 12
And also says
That the 12 would have been the last year before they went to
Air forks..
In looking around on the ole internet
It looks like they changed the throttle body
From 50 to 46 from the 12 to the 13 model year
And also the 13 and 14 both still had spring forks
So do u suppose he means the 13 is the better one to buy??
Also I would have though with all his years of experience
And all the bikes he has ridden that he would have
A few more suggestions .
I very much enjoy listening though
And he seems like a great guy .

Now to answer your question about the 2013 CRF250R.. I got hurt in 2013 and missed out on some quality testing with the 2013 CRF250R model so I am sure it has some of the same parts rolled over from the 2012. I just wanted to mention the bikes that I have had the most experience with and tried not to steer the listeners in the wrong direction. I think I talked about the 2012 Honda CR450R in the podcast and mentioned it was the last year Honda had a spring fork before they switched to air forks in 2013 on the 450R. I apologize if it came across as the 250R.
I appreciate you taking the time to write and if you have any questions please email me at kris@keeferinctesting.com. My door is always cracked open to try and answer as many questions as I can. Thanks!
I enjoy listening
And it sounds like you like the 13 also
