I hope they use the opportunity to make some homologated chassis specs that they can use later on - instead of just having the 1 stock chassis spec that is the fastest bike around Glen Helen
I would be interested if there is really something to this.
I am going to pick up a new bike but waiting on the sidelines to see the updated 23s from Kawi and KTM.
If Kawi did this bike I would most likely grab a 22 1/2 with some bling(hopefully some of it functional not just cosmetic).

If someone sold a bike with real a-kit suspension it would be a 20k bike easily.
Perhaps, but probably a bit less. Whatever it is, it would be less than buying a bling edition then buying suspension after the fact because the mfg doesn't have to pay for the standard suspension. Figure A-kit is probably 5k and regular suspension 2k (mfg cost, not retail), the bike should increase in price by about 3k. Maybe the numbers are a little off, but that should be pretty close. So if a bingly new 450 is 12k now, a blingy a-kit edition should be about 15k.

The Honda FE was going OTD this spring for 16+ already

With a real A kit bike would. Be over 20k. People complain now on bike prices lol.
$20k with A-kit already individually valved and sprung for the buyer from the dealer (in addition to all the other bling)…that would be a solid “maybe” from me….lots of money…but I’d sure be tempted…
Good suspension make such a high difference…and to be able to have the best of the best…That would be tempting….
