Anyone else experience poor resale on Kawasaki's? I have a '19 KX450 with 45 hours. Very clean condition, needs nothing, all stock, minus after market seat cover, skid plates, rotor protectors, etc. and have been trying to sell it for the past 2 months. I have listed it nearly 500 less than most every other ad of the same size and model year within 2 hours of me currently. I have slowly lowered the price over the past 2 months to where it is now. I get the average inquiry but nothing serious.
Had ZERO problems selling my 2020 YZ250f, kids '18 CRF150RB, kids '17 KX85 and youngest's crf110. I have been selling ATVs and snowmobiles for years and a few bikes over the last year and a half since getting back into the sport. Never had an issue like this.
Just curious if KX resale value is so low in all regions or if this is something inherit to Southwestern Ontario. Almost feel like I'm giving the bike away at this point. Just surprised. Is it guys not wanting a 450 or not wanting KX's?

What's the price and do you have pics?
I would post a link to the ad, but not sure if that is against the rules here. Happy to private message though.

If that is against forum rules I apologize and will remove this post or a mod can remove it.
That said, I would have no issue running a Suzuki again. I raced an '93 RM125 in the Intermediate class back in the day before moving over to CR's for both 125 and 250 Intermediate class. Just wish they were a bit more technically up-to-date these days.
People were buying roached out 5 year old bikes for thousands more, because the plastics were a different color.
The 450, I bought for 8k rode it for 1 1/2 years sold it for 7500, the 250fx I paid 7500 rode 2yr sold for 7500,
Now got a smoking deal on a 22kx450, so it’s my next ride
Pit Row
Unfortunately I do not have the stock or previous seat cover anymore. It was a green and black ribbed Guts which was stained pretty good from a few mud rides that would never come thoroughly clean. It really could use a graphics kit but I haven't wanted to spend anymore money on it, because Im not sure it will actually make a difference.
But you are right, probably could use a more thorough going over, I just haven't been able to motivate myself to care enough
Both had 40 + hrs. One for $6800 and the other one today for $6500. Both were spotless, I scrub the frame and engine with brilo pad every wash. Kaws look like shit very easily. I get decent deals on bikes plus some team green money and buy every year. I’m ok with losing junk of Money on resell.
This sold today.
