2013? Sweet. My unfinished 07 model got pushed to the other side of the garage this weekend! Laughing Wondering if you had a few of the same issues I did.

What did you do for radiators???? I ended up wasting $500.00 on some custom built pieces of crap that won't fit in any way possible. Too thick/bulky cores.

What about the kickstarter? I ended up using a kick lever from a KX250 2 stroke if I remember correctly. Clears everything nicely with just a little clearancing near the knuckle. No room for the brake pedal return spring so I ditched it in favor of the FasstCo one.

Pop the rivets / bolts loose on the silencer and you can rotate it outwards to fill the gap between it and the side panel. Looks better that way.

And then, what did you do for the air boot?

Radiators are stock. Just turned the fittings.

Kickstarter is Honda CR 125 03-07.

Airboot is RM 125 05.

That pro circuit pipe is routed way higher than my De Groot pipe does!

Post photos of your De Groot pipe. I'm in the market for something uncommon. Looking at Scalvinis

I get back with more pictures this coming weekend. Being away at work these are the only photos I got on my ipad.

I hope to get this bike to be competetive with KTM and Tm's.

It's been build with as small and easy mods as possible. This for being able to get parts quick. If I crash something I want to be able to get a new part and bolt it on without modification.

If I like how it feels, there will be some serious weight taken of, as well as some more mods.

I love the engine, 2007 KX125 that are bored and ported by PBR Racing, matched cases, balanced crank, VHM head abd vforce 3 intake, but the Mikuni carb does not feel as good. There will be a Keihin swap.

I'm thinking of using 2002 kx125 electronics, and go for a 38mm Keihin PWK with powerjet.

Suspension is KX450F 2010 and is revalved with Racetech.

Yes, but not only. There are some mounts you can get rid of, and you also need to move the tubes under the engine backwards a bit, to make it look good, as well as changing the angle a bit.

Also, the 09-12 airbox and plastics in the rear are 130 grams heavier than the 2013 pieces. Smile

Jimmy check out the forum cafehusky.com there are a lot of guys dumping their Keihin PWK38AS's now that we've discovered how much better the Lectron works.

You can get a Lectron 38 for $315 + shipping, and I can tell you without a doubt you'd throw rocks at a Keihin after trying it. It's the same idea as the APT Smartcarb except the Lectron has an adjustable power jet for fine tuning half-to-full throttle application. No jets to change in the float bowl, just a metering rod (like a needle) to adjust, an external adjuster for the power jet and an idle screw. Best thing is once you've got it set you never have to touch it again, it's not weather or altitude sensitive.

That bike looks really nice - you have done a good job on it.

I would have probably gone with the Mulisha kit myself, though:

The best thing about the Lectron in comparison to the APT carb, is that it actually exists. Not just a full price pre-pay list to get the carb 4 months from now.

i always liked the 36MM carb better on my RM144s. i tried the 38MM PWK once and i had to get down to a #4 slide to get it working using KTM NOZI needles.

Right now i am running the 36MM mikuni from a 2000 yz125 on my 04 RM144

running jd jetting kit for my ktm 144, it has a pwk 38. JD has a great needle taper that might work for many 144's running
a pwk carb.144 soon to be a 153.
