KTM or Bajaj close to making a deal the the Iconic Italian brand. Ducati might bright close to 800 million pounds. Ducati would be a nice fit for KTM. Both are premium sport orientated brands.

Done in 1971; 450cc. They had a 350cc in 1969.
There's always been a lot of talk about the complexity of desmo valvetrains. I have a 907ie with the twin valve head and while it's different I don't feel it's as difficult to adjust as a four valve head with shims under bucket followers that require lifting the cams. Not sure how the four valve heads would be.
