I listened to Keefers podcast on handle bars and subsequently went and bought some after market handlebars to replace my stock ktm bars which were supposed to be very 'stiff' and 'uncomfortable'.

I can't honestly say I felt the difference. They look cool though.

I think the stock KTM bars are some of the most comfy bars I’ve ever ridden with. Handlebars are very opinion oriented. If you like your stockers, ride them.

The guys who are saying Pro Tapers are better, probably are getting kick backs from them....

I swapped the stock KTM bars with the Husky Pro Taper bars.I prefer the bend of the Husky bars and I did notice a better “feeling” vs the stock bars. This was on my 2018 KTM 450.

It feels it. I run the Protaper fuzion bars and I think they offer a much better feel.

I can tell you for sure that Keefer isn't getting kick backs from Pro Taper for saying their bars are good....

I'm a tallish guy for mx (5' 11") and I swapped out my KTM stocks for ProTaper Fuzions (SX Bend). I've always liked the cross bar look and was running Twinwall 997's on my yamis. With the cross bar unlocked (more flex) you can feel them flex. I actually could feel it a bit just sitting there pumping for the forks up and down. It was so trippy, I thought that I had either messed up rubber mounts, steering head was loose, or my bar clamps were loose. After double checking everything the only thing I could have it come down to were the bars.

Recently (after 18 hours) I locked the bars and that phenomena went away so I'm guessing I was actually feeling the flex. Figured I would give it a shot.. haven't rode since then yet though.

The KTM stocks binded my wrists and were really hard on my arms. By dad put them on his Yami and loved them, he's a bit smaller shorter than me. I was impressed with PT's,

My stock KTM bars are swapped for the Husky ProTapers. I don’t think I ride enough to feel a big difference really

I recently swapped the stockers for ProTaber Evo. I noticed no difference at all in feel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this largely depend on the year/model of KTM? I think some came with Neken, some Renthal?
