Hi guys, i recently found out, that the 2014 350 fork doesn't even seem to be the 4CS one is this correct?
I want to upgrade to the 2018 or 2019 AER because you can get a new one or mostly new for around 800usd. Which parts do i need to change? Can i use the old triple clamps? Just change the fork legs, axle, spacers for the wheel and fork guards or is there more to change?
Best regards

That aside, each to their own. If you did go through with it, it's a new axle size. Standard and aftermarket wheels have spacer options between the old and new axles. And yes, different shaped fork shrouds.
So if you buy the AER forks you'll need
-wheel spacers for your old wheels
-axle to suit
-fork shrouds
They will fit the same clamps. I'm pretty sure the AER forks are marginally shorter than the closed chamber ones, though. So you may need to drop the AER's through the clamp more for the same turn feel.
Changing the AER fork feet back to the old axle size is more expensive than getting a new axle and some spacers.
Hope that helps sorta

I have the heavy fork springs that you need from Race Tech. $60 plus shipping.
Best regards and many thanks for all you answers
this should be my fork internals and partlist according to the spare parts catalogue
4cs are shit. They have comp adjuster on one side and rebound on the other, both on tops of fork legs. CC' have compression adjuster on top of fork legs and rebound o. The bottom
