CP would do just fine on the KTM.

I would like to see him sign this deal.

Sounds good. At one point a KTM team will demolish that bad rep in US, sound this could be that point?

I think with his injuries and his need to conserve energy, he's looking at the 350. Assuming the gossip is true. KTM has had a disasterous US showing of their new product. Who better to show the true nature of that machine than Pourcel.

I wonder if they'd be willing to allow the 350 indoors and the 450 outdoors?

What are you basing that statement on, exactly?

I heard the same rumor (Pourcel to KTM) last weekend.

There's nothing wrong with KTMs but it certainly hasn't worked for anyone so far for whatever reason. Hope CP doesn't continue the streak, we need him to step it up in the big bikes 4 or 5 guys capable of winning would be nice next year.

Not to shit on any of their riders, but they havent had many championship contenders in the past. Langston, Ryno, Alessi, Ramsey(west sx) are the only ones I can think of. Maybe this is what they need.

They have never really had a good rider in the US to prove the bikes. They have tommy but he has ben injured to so much but in the one race he was healthy he had the bike up there, CP to KTM would be a good move

KTM honestly got the money Pourcel's looking for??
I would think Honda($) and Kawa($) are the likely winners in the Pourcel sweepstakes.

Agreed, CP could do well on a Husaberg if he really wanted to. He is gonna turn some heads next year for sure.

Apparently, KTM made a profit last financial year so perhaps money isn't that big a concern. That said; I think I recall reading somewhere that despite KTM's plans to have a significantly greater presence in America in 2011 (SX and MX) they had made the decision not to buy any big ticket riders - this time.

Still, it would be good to see CP on a pumpkin.

We absolutely cannot possibly compare the KTM 250Sx of 2001 to the bikes available today, apples and oranges.....

With Monster not with Youthstream next year, perhaps a budget is available for CP and KTM. Another good choice for KTM is Weimer. Both riders do well in SX............

This actually makes total sense. Isn't Musquin riding for KTM in the states next year?

2 French riders on the same team.

I wish I was an industry insider! Sidequestion; Mitch give any hints on his list of riders for 11' Matthes?
