KTM 350 for SX

I was thinking the 350 would be perfect for sx....it would probably hook up better than 450's. Short is gonna start testing one and hopefully Mike Alessi races sx next year. Sorry if this has been brought up before....

I agree. When the 350 was introduced I was thinking "That's going to absolutely kill it in Sueprcross... not so much motocross." It'll be interesting to see.

i was thinking that when stewart, reed, rv, dungey, etc are all clicking to 4th for those long big whoops, those 350 guys will have to keep it in 3rd...could be the difference maker. we'll find out soon enough.

clicking 4th? I didn't even think they had 4th gear for SX. I remember Canard saying he stayed in 2nd gear on the whole track last year. I think the 350's will work really well in SX if they can get the suspension right.

Then caught a tough block and then crashed again later. I saw his times in the 2nd race and the were not that great. Seems that the 350 is just not agreeing with him. You need an aggressive riding style where you are WFO all the time. Thats why Cairoli does well on it. He has that kind of riding style. Riders like James and RV would love the 350.
