Hi guys
Its winter in the N/E which means I'm bored and have too much time on my hands to fck around w/my bike.
Looking for a few upgrades, does anyone run:
1. a flywheel weight and if so did it smooth things out.
2. Was going to switch from fmf fatty to a Pro circuit (can get one extremely cheap), looking for more over rev but not @ expense of bottom. Any thoughts or both the same?
3. Thinking of recluse radius X, anyone running it on the 2 banger? Loved it on my 350.

That's about it, love the bike, just feel like tinkering w/stuff for the next couple months. All input appreciated.

I have the PC exhaust, I gained a noticeable amount of over rev with no loss anywhere else and picked up power everywhere.

I have nothing on the FWW, but I'm also interested and hear the lighter of the two options is good for MX while the heavier is better for woods. I like my bike the way it is now, but like to test new things to improve performance and lower lap times.

I had a steahly fww on my 250sx and took it off after a few rides. I guess it may give a little better momentum through turns but I wasn’t a fan on the smoothed out hit that I lost. I also had a lectron on my bike and I feel like after I removed the fww and put the keihin back on, the bike revved much faster/freer and the slight hit was back. I would maybe try pv springs first if you haven’t to smooth the power out. If you’re a woods guy you may like the weight but I wasn’t a fan.

i have a 2013 sx250.
Im not a mx rider, more offload. After reading transworld or some article on it saying they only saw benefits I had to jump on it.
i got the heavier steahly flywheel weight and really liked the difference. Especially throttle control/clutching and stalling in the tight 1st/2nd gear woods.

I honestly thought the bike was too much for me in the beginning as it was my first bike and even with my fatass i was always fighting whiskey throttling into a tree haha

now im better wouldn't change the power delivery at all. I also bought a full PC exhaust i have yet to put on but comparing the quality to FMF I think the mounts and finish are better in my opinion. Without even trying it im going to be rocking PC on this bike forever.

If you’re interested I have both the fww and the radius cx I’m going to be selling. Also have a xc head. They absolutely smooth things out, great for woods riding. The clutch is great for off-road/ tight woods, for moto I don’t feel it’s necessary. I’m converting my 250sx back from off-road set up to moto only so I have no need for these items

If the OP doesn’t want the clutch I’d be interested.

Agree with above adjust the powervalve, unplug the hot wire, skip the clutch, call chuck steahly and get 9oz flywheel weight, then fmf fatty with 2.1 turbinecore, longer slip on smooths power, and jet carb a little rich, 14-49 gearing, makes a great woods bike

I run a 12.5 clutch weight and a 49t rear on my 17. Works great. Red Spring, thinking about trying the F1 or blue spring.

If the bike a 17 or newer the 11 will be fine,, I had a 13 and ran a 9, one of my favorite KTMs, the extra power of the newer KTMs will be fine with the 11oz. , drop your rear sprocket to a 49 and tune your powervalve, you’ll love it.
