KTM 2 stroke throttle tube bolt crack

I over tightened the throttle tube bolts And now there’s a crack running from the bolt towards the throttle tube. Any aftermarket replacements that have a shorter twist and aren’t too pricey. Cheers. Not sure what the actually metal housing piece is called but it’s that that has been damaged not the actual tube.

Hilarious boys I know but I did set the torq wrench to 5nm I made sure. Gives me an excuse to get a new one I guess.

Rule #1. Buy a quality torque wrench. 5nm is isnt much and you'll need a feather the wrench to feel the 5nm.

But you should'nt need a t-wrench for those tube bolts and lever bolts...learn by feel....

Another thing.. it should be mentioned is to tighten them up evenly by hand then torque them.

Disassemble and clean parts thoroughly with contact cleaner. Then get some Pratleys in there and you'll be good.
