That was disgusting case he had. I was impressed with his situational awareness by looking back to avoid other riders while knowing he's about to take a digger.

I thought maybe he came across the cross bar with his goggles, especially when they didn't show anything for like 5 minutes... I was relieved he got going again.

That hit kinda scared me a little. Not only the impact to his chin , but when his arm flew off.....first thing I thought was " Broken wrist " or something along those lines.

Just goes to show just how God damn tough these guys are. I swear I felt the tremor all the way up here in Portland! I was also amazed he got back going again and was putting in some pretty fast laps. Fighting for every point.....the kid is a true champion in my eyes.
