Agreed.

I like Dungey as a rider and person, but he does not belong in the booth. Kenny on the other hand hit his marks, had good hand offs back to the guys and flowed well.

Definitely a future in booth if he so chooses! Well spoken, didn't project, and kept it simple.

He was great.

Not, "I think he should make this a career" type of great, but thoroughly enjoyable commentary.

Kenny has all but lost any hint of his German accent over the years being here, and now does great Cali-speak. He was clear, and understandable...and knows what the hell he's talking about.

I like the insight he gives on bike setups and the tracks and such. Like another time he was in the booth in sx he was talking about how most US riders set their suspension up really "dead " in the rear but he runs a more euro style. Cool input like that we don't really get from other announcers, its usually just generic.

Put Kenny and AC in the booth together once they both retire. That would be the shit!

He did good but not someone I’d see in there full time. Grant and weege are really so good and natural together. They really make the sx broadcast look bad. The mx broadcast really is on par with other professional sports. I couldn’t help but notice when Barcia had his crash in moto two and grant was taking about the yz intake and where it’s located in the gas tank area and is different than the other bikes. This is something we all know but Ricky or Ralph would never know that.

Also love when grant gives his view on the riders podium interviews. He seems to point out “yea they said the track (or whatever they are asked) was this, but as a racer they are really meant...” got to respect him laying it out for the fans of the sport with his analysis especially since he’s been there and done it all so he really actually has experienced whatever he’s talking about.

Edit: I don’t mind Ralph and Ricky, just seems a lot more effortless with the Mx broadcast. Maybe weege and Langston have more freedom to give their honest opinions and outlooks but the motocross fan gets a lot more out of the broadcast imo.

Ryan is not as outgoing and gregarious as Ken. I liked Ken in the booth, he is a great personality and knows how to break things down and explain in a simple but concise manner.

I agree with you. Maybe enough negative people were cleaned out of here. Seems kinda nice.
I haven't found anything wrong with Weege, Langston, Ralph, Ricky, or Emig. They all do/did just fine in my opinion. Kenny has been on the mic before, and I definitely like hearing some more complicated in depth things he says, while accepting Ralph's " green Kawasaki" statements. A little talk for hardcore, and casual fans both is acceptable.
