Yes and i remember 2 of them very good because in both of them one or multiple Belgian riders got barely edged out for the titles.
1st one i remember is Seb Tortelli winning the 250cc world title in 1998 on a Kawasaki vs Stefan Everts.
2nd one is Mickael Maschio winning the 125cc world title in 2002 on a kawasaki vs Steve Ramon & Patrick Caps.
I often hear and see people say kawasaki never won a world title in the GP's i don't get what they mean with it. Maybye on a 450cc bike ? edit: Yeah the list above shows that never a 450cc Kawasaki has won a title in the GP's. Would be an awesome feat for RV to do that for a brand he's been part with for his whole carreer ..!

Kawasaki's first world motocross title was in 95 when Everts won the 250 championship. It could be argued by that time the 250 class was the premier class. The 500 class wasn't the same and for the most part the best riders were in the 250 class in my opinion.

I agree with that. The 500 class had lost a lot of its prestige by 1995. 1992 was about the last year of 500cc glory, after that it was mainly Husaberg and Husky four strokes as all the other top factory teams concentrated on the 250 class.

Bolley rode a Kawasaki in 1996 and 1997, finished 5th and 8th. In 1998 he lined up with Honda next to Everts. First year he ended the season as 5th again, and in 1999 he became world champion. In 2000 he had to move to a Swiss Hondateam as Everts and Dave Grant moved over to the 500cc-class with Husqvarna. He became champion again, but his team went bankrupt so he had to make his own team for 2001.
