Justin barcia 2018 outdoors

I think seeing that barcia is "back to his old self" it is pretty evident that he will be a title contender. Im going to go out on a limb and say that he will win the championship this year if he keeps it on two wheels.

I wouldn’t say he will win the title but he definitely will be a threat for wins. I feel like Eli will be on point so will Marv and maybe Kenny but it’s hard to say

Eli is on another level man. I think he will contend for 2nd. Eli would need an iniury to not win it.

Champion? - Hardly
Several podiums? - Surely

As a Barcia fan I'd love to see him succeed as much as anyone but the competition is tough. He needs a solid year to build on but I don't see him winning too many races against the likes of Tomac, Musquin and Roczen.

I'm a huge Tomac fan and although he won the title last year, he needs to stay away from the issues he had last summer i.e. the weird brake problems and occasional consistency issues. The best thing he could do to help his cause if he crashes is to get back on the damn bike a lot faster than what he has in the past. I would love to see him go back to back with 450 outdoor titles.

Barcia will do well but I don't see him winning the title. Roczen is a huge unknown with his arm and hand issues.

Let's be real though, there is as good a chance of Eli smoking everyone as there is he hits the dirt and wrecks himself.

I am super curious where Roczens speed will be at.

Yeah eli needs to work on that.

I think roczen will be where he was when he came back from sx. He literally just got back on the bike this week i think

After seeing Bam Bam's speed on the Yamaha, I wouldn't be surprised if we got an overall or two. Its going to be a good year for outdoors.

Baggett will bring it. I hope Mookie is secretly training with Aldon too, because with some fitness he would also be on it. BamBam get's the nod too I guess.

Tomac is the man to beat outdoors. I just don't think anyone will do that consistently enough to win the title. I do think Barcia could win a couple motos though.

I like Barcia in the top 5 when healthy. Top 3 is going to be tough if everyone is back and strong.

I hope Anderson does a sweep this year. Remember MXON? JA can bring it outdoors too.

Blake Baggetts 2018 Champ.
I like that choice too the guy is a animal when he is feeling it.
We saw what he is capable of last year, and without the thumb injury i think he would have had it.

Here's where I'm at with this one!

TOMAC: Its hard to knock his speed and stamina, as stated above if he can remain consistent and keep the crazy problems he had in the past to a minimum....In the Vegas books he has to be the favorite....right?

MM25: Marvin is as good as they come! Smooth, fast, and healthy will be up front all summer long.

ANDERSON: Barring another freak incident that we saw last week, the SX title is his. Momentum is on his side and with a freshly torn out page from RD5's "How to win a championship" book in his back pocket, Anderson will also be tough to beat.

ROCZEN: He's fast...too fast! I'm going to go ahead and call it now. He's going to get hurt again. Roczen knows how to twist the throttle but I don't know if he will be able to hang on at the speeds we all know he is capable of and the speeds it takes to podium.

BARCIA: He can put that Yamaha out front quick, he has been consistently a good starter and outdoors is where he does work. JB51 is loving the Yamaha and super comfortable from everything I've heard and read. I think he will be on the podium almost every week but Tomac is just on another level and I don't think he can compete with him for 30+2. It would be great to see him in the hunt at the end of the series and I think we will.

The field is just so deep with talent that we can arm chair QB this thing till the arthritis sets in....The Great Outdoors 17 DAYS!

Just listening to Pulp. Baggett has been riding outdoors for 4 weeks and just racing sx on the weekend. He doesn't wanna be crap at Hangtown this year.

I think Roczen will struggle early on as he has only been riding for a few weeks after his latest hand surgery.

I can't wait. Baggett wants to prove himself against a stacked field, Mr Anderson will be fresh off his first 450 sx championship ready to prove its not a fluke. Once again, Kenny will be coming back with a chip on his shoulder and a head full of what ifs. MM25 will be like c'est la vie bitches while finishing top 5 every damn week. Eli will be eli. We say the same thing every year (stacked), and every year either sx or practice crashes rob us of a great outdoors.

I think that Tomac has to step up if he wants to defend his title. He got very lucky that all of his competitors got hurt last year and Dungey retired.

Barcia will get at least one overall win.

I think you're right....if Eli is one then this thing is over. if Eli is off, then he's his own worst enemy. Let the battle begin I cannot wait and I wish like hell they'd bring the national back to Texas. Just do it for me.

Definitely a tougher field . I don't think Eli gives up speed to anyone but he can't go into that lull he had last season.
