Justin Hill’s crash

Edited Date/Time 7/29/2018 7:00am
Just read on racer x that he had a huge crash and his bike went into a tree, did anyone see it or have a video of it?

Crossrutted I think and the bike went right instead of left with the track and he shot off the berm. Nailed the tree pretty good and if that tree hadn't been there it would have been about 25 foot drop into a creek area

The section he crashed in is sketchy man. Probably the most sketch part on the track.

I didn't see it on the broadcast but heard it was a good get off.

I've got a video of it. Kind of disturbing to be honest.

Can we see? He isn’t injured so that’s a good thing, he was on it!

Damn, that's wild! He got supremely lucky, even though he barely hit the haybale on the tree.

I've hit 2 trees throughout my racing career and it's never fun to see it coming and instantly stop.

That could've ended much more severely than it did. He is very lucky.

I really really like both of the Hill brothers . I would guess they have probably done over 1000 laps at this track . Maybe more. But c’mon man......major major lapse in concentration. If your head is not in the job at hand, find something else to do .

I’m sure he didn’t go straight instead of turning because of a “lapse of concentration” maybe he got cross rutted or hit a breaking bump or something.. dudes are going crazy fast and things happen quickly

Is that a mattress saran-wrapped to the tree??? Lol. *Mathes Mattress*

I hit a tree pretty good on skis once. Let's just say it took me a while to get up, and I didn't like getting hugs for a while due to all the cracked ribs.

True. But what’s crazy is Eli doesn’t even do a double take. I’d be looking over my shoulder. Eli is a man on a mission.

Lol they literally saran wrapped mattresses to both of those trees and he missed the mattress and landed up in the tree. Man if only we could see exactly how that happened, hes way up there! Glad to see hes not hurt.

Hilarious. Do you think it is flat track ? Ever attacked shadowed, bumpy and soft deep ruts ? It could happen to anyone.

Glad he's ok. Someone has to come up with a good name for The Tree.
