This pretty much sums up Justin Hill's Sunday at the USGP. He sat here watching the Kawasaki mechanics frantically working on his bikes electrical system. He missed the entire practice session. The bike fired up as soon as practice ended.

Is Hill staying at PC for 2018? I'm sure it's been announced here or somewhere else by now...but I forget. I'd say he needs a change of scenery.

You gotta love his optimistic views...

Justin Hill:
“The different format is a lot more riding and racing, which is an adjustment. It was unfortunate to be docked in Moto 2 because I felt at my best all weekend, but it is what it is. I had a lot of fun representing all our sponsors in front of the world.”

Generally when you refer to someone as a "no-show" it means they voluntarily chose to skip it.

Did he really say this? I'd be embarrassed if I sponsored him.

He got a change of scenery at KTM but that didn't help him much.

Something about signing to the premier 250 team with Roger and then subsequently not being able to be on the team with Roger and wear Fox because of TLD taking over...

Not sure if that's hush hush round here or not

As a fellow Oregonian and big fan of the Hill's, boy did he lay a big ol turd outdoors this year? As someone who can win SX mains and a championship he should have easily been a top 5 guy all year and he no doubt has the capability to be a top 5 guy outdoors with some podiums thrown in there. I wonder what is up? I am really surprised JGR picked him up with the outdoor results hes had. It won't be any easier in the 450's........

Shouldn't he have said "I had a lot of fun representing all our sponsors behind the rest of the world"?

Are you talking about in the pictures posted because I'm pretty sure he's wearing a roost protector under his jersey.

I think the kid put alot of effort into winning that championship, so much he just completely skipped motocross time during his break. What would you do? Focus on a championship your looking good for, or throw in motocross and try to juggle both disciplines? He's a 2017 supercross champion, his year was phenomenal on paper when it mattered. Atleast he didn't stay home and collect a check like some did and he was one of the riders that took on the mxgp challenge. Nuff said!
