Could be a good fit.

Fast bike, factory supported team, unorthodox structure with highly passionate non-corporate management, largely performance based incentives, and Genova is PNW-based.

From a pure TALENT perspective, Motoconcepts would be able to compete with any team in the paddock with Mookie and Hill. Turning that into results...

That would be quite the replacement for Brayton.

Guidance from Tony and a results based compensation package is a good start. The dude is dripping talent and we know that bike is solid.

A bird called me. That’s why I said not confirmed because of the bird. I’m to busy to drive around to the tracks to see what’s happening.

Everyone who’s ever ridden or tested that MotoConcepts bike has said its absolute rocket ship.

And if you go back and look at all of the guys who’ve ridden for Tony over the years you’ll notice that they’ve all had their best supercross results with him, the only real exception being McAdoo when he was a rookie.

Especially now that he’s made it clear that he’s willing to ride for free !

I obviously hope JH gets a good deal and does well. But I fear that JH underperforming (again) in combination with Tony could affect the rest of the team (Malcolm) negatively?

Obviously there would be a huge upside to bringing in JH if he can put it together but it looks more and more like an off-chance judging from the outside. Does MotoConcecpts really need this added drama?

I actually think if anyone can overcome a little bit of drama and get some good results it’s Tony Alessi. He doesn’t get enough credit as a team manager in my opinion.

I think Motoconcepts might be the best avenue for him to showcase that talent, also rather than Tony being a negative for him I would say its a positive, Tony is a very good manager these days

I think the poor Motoconcepts team overestimates their ability to turn a rider into a top 5 dude. Credit to Malcom-he recognized the need to get fit and he did it, and probably recognized it was his last chance to do so. I would not bet on Hill getting the same memo and I'm shocked that this team would consider him. There are other choices, and better one's at that.

People can “thumbs down” this, but JB just turned this ride into a factory Honda ride. Justin could do the same if he puts out.

I would say they are receiving the top rider out there that is willing to take a pay cut.
Not sure who you are speaking of, maybe enlighten us on a better fit or better rider for the team. All the other potential riders in no way has the draw, and the potential for top five finishes.
I like Reed but I take JH over Reedy at this point in career.
Savatgy will hold out for a factory position.

It'll take two seasons of making every race and finishing in the top five for any full factory team to even consider him again.

Ha, dude Brayton is 34, Justin is 24. One bad year on a weird 450 team isn’t gonna kill him.

Chad Reed got a podium at 37 years old on that team. So “weird”.

Outdoors on PC was a joke. 1 win in SX for JGR 250 outdoors we’re a joke. He begs and cries about just wanting to be on a 450 then does nothing his rookie year. What was his highlight? 2 top 10’s in 17 rounds of 450 sx? Now he’s “more motivated than ever” and wants to “right the wrongs”. The kid is a salesman. It’s unfortunate that guys like Barcia and Deano have had to rebuild themselves as privateers but Hill keeps getting a shot. The only upside is MCR is very performance based so at least he won’t be wasting to much of their money.
