Anybody have an update on Justin Bogle after his crash on Saturday night? Hope he is ok!

Only picture I could find of him ( behind BB ) from Glendale.

JT$ covered it on the RacerX review podcast. Concussion, otherwise relatively OK. Hope he's not too bad, Bogle had 3 pretty big concussions in 2018.

That 90 mph start was retardo. Feld made a poor choice that unnecessarily put riders at risk.

Yepp. AJ was saying it's the only start that he's ever needed 4th gear on. That's insane

Were there any hi-speed crashes in the 1st turn?

AC fault, too long straight fault, Osbourne fault, or Bogle fault ?

Bogle is fast and gets some great starts but damn the dude constantly gets bit by the injury big. I'd like to see what he can do with a full year of health.

Unfortunately we may not see it. He may call it a career.

Stuff happens really fast at that level and it's just a racing incident. AC probably didn't expect Bogle to cut over as hard as he did, and Bogle probably didn't expect Osborne to cut over as hard as he did either. Nobody's fault.

Really? Would be a shame.

Must get hard to know you have all the potential (like in the heat race two weeks ago leading for a long time), but then getting away with big crashes and unfortunately injuries. Some of his injuries, like the one at the MEC where he collided with Hoeft in-air were not even his fault.

I can’t know of course but this is one of several times he’s had to be reviewed for concussion. He may have to take a hard look at The risk involved with any more hits.

Is Bogle considering this option?

After one concussion, it's very easy to trigger another. After another concussion, it's even easier to trigger the third... and so forth. It doesn't matter how advanced those Fly helmets are when your brain is scrambled like Eric Lindros'. I wish the best for Bogle, but I hope he doesn't take these slams too lightly. Concussions are an achilles heel for a racer, and he is a young guy with too much life ahead of him to keep bouncing his noggin'.

He’s gonna miss this next race. Hope he can get back out there soon.

I really do have to wonder what the hell he was thinking though. It was clear he didn’t have the jump to cut down hard at the angle he did. He just turned left hard and into the inside guys that were even with him and got punted. Osborne had a similar jump and maintained his wider line, which was fine until Bogle cleaned him out. Was not the right time to be super aggressive.

Yup. What made that one sketch was it was a right turn so at some point you had to give up the rear brake. I normally had pretty decent starts there.
