2. Why was Big James so angry afterwards?

There's a thread on Big James somewhere.

I didn't take it as any big deal. It looked to me like he thought James was going to make a scene with Reed and he was just waving him off. Sent him back to the pits to cool off. We all know how tempers can flare at the end of a race. I thought it was a smart move on Big Jame's part. He avoided a confrontation that could have been a minor P/R headache for them.

They announced it as a sellout at the Dome, but the stadium was 75% full at best. maybe the $3.50 gas kept some people home....not sure.
