Chad Reed is a minge. Admittedly a highly successful one, but still a minge!

Maybe Tomac is faster than him

Maybe Musquin hid Dungey's and Anderson's 4ARM strong at the Baker's factory to be the only one benefiting from the amazing device?

3/19/2017 5:08 AM

he cant win. if he pins it and throws it to eli. he loses. if he rides smart and makes eli close the points slowly. he loses. it is still a lead. if he was losing the championship.. it would be different.

when i hit 4th gear,i can really feel the cross fit kick in.
i wont use rotella until they are on a team semi or series.

Dungey is doing what Dungey does, he has never ridden over his limit, he knows how fast he can go and keeps it at that level, which explains his career longevity. Tomac is just on it.

People were trippin' over his comments on the podium, but I took it as he felt he dodged a bullet with that practice crash on to the stadium floor and he was happy to get out of there with the 3rd and regroup for next week.

To be fair you also can't tell for sure he wasn't trying.

And, he'll keep Tomac honest to the end. Tomac hasn't shown that he's consistent yet. One bad race and Dungey has it in the bag again.

Seriously, why do we assume he wasn't trying? Given Dungey's insane work ethic and the high standards he's consistently set for himself, which has been established throughout his career, it would be VERY out of character for him to suddenly say "screw it, don't care, LULZ."

He does care. He cares very much. If anything, the pressure has gotten to him and shaken his focus, in the last few weeks especially . He needs to tune out the background chatter and work on getting his focus and confidence recentered to where it was before.

Agreed.

I just find it really irritating when people make statements like " THIS IS what a rider is thinking" and not " I wonder if this is what he is thinking..."

Whatever. Just me.

I stI'll expect dungey to win, all he ha's to do is win once every 3 or 4 rounds. It seems like he's counting on a mistake or bad start by Eli and for now that's a smart plan because Eli is notoriots for bad starts.

It just takes 1...maybe 2 wins and so long as he doesn't keep getting 3rd he should be fine...still assuming Eli has a bad race.

1 race win wound not do it now. Also no way RD gets 2nd the rest of the races. Marvin is quite a bit faster than him now.

Dunge just taking it easy , to make it interesting for the fans. Tryin to give them something else to talk about besides the tired bubba threads ...

Dungey had some good answers for some pretty good questions in the press conference, definitely not what he's usually like, maybe having the opportunity to sit down and have time to speak his mind allows him to open up more than just yeah bikes good thanks redbull like most guys are

Because of his podium Interview he was tonuge tied and Tomac is whipping him right now Dungey other problem is his teammate and the fact that no one is pulling over for him Reed showed that by the way thank you you Reed! I'm watching the race agian now and they just showed the replay of when Dungey crashed,he smacked the ground pretty damn hard and his head definitely hit the ground he didn't hit that tuff block his bike did Dungey hit the ground!

Well there pal...Dungeys points gap has been dropping...dropping a lot...so yes I'm pretty sure his mindset for Indy was go out and beat Tomac. Not go out and get third and lose MORE points. 17 to 12. 5 point swing in one night.

3/19/2017 1:04 PM

Do you guys even look at the actual results and times before spouting off about stuff you only speculate about? Dungey's best time was .1 sec slower than Tomac and almost .4 seconds faster than Marvin's. He dropped off the race pace with 9 minutes to go and seems to be clipping his rear tire a lot more this year on jump combos and is not riding as clean. It seems to be effecting his stamina toward the end of the races. Sometimes things are just a little off. Stop looking for excuses/reasons. He'll be fine and maybe 2nd is the best he can do this year. Still elite talent and speed.
