Ride in Peace, Joe. This board is better for having had you on it.

RIP.
Home the family turn his workshop into a museum of his bikes. So many classics and workmanship is excellent.

Hate to hear this. RIP Newmann. I didn't know him personally, but as others have always pointed out, this board was better for having him as a contributor.

You can learn a lot about someone by how people talk about them when they are gone, we lost a good one. RIP

Damn... I loved chatting with him on here and following his builds. We're losing way too many of our riding brothers lately. I didn't even see the original thread what happened to him? Ride in Peace Joe Sad

Got a call from my daughter yesterday with the horrible news that Joe was gone. Shock isn’t a strong enough word. Unfair isn’t even close enough to a strong enough word. Joe and I met on this forum what seems like forever ago, although we live 2500 miles apart meeting here brought us together as friends and so much to the point that my daughter married Joe’s son. Joe was the kind of guy that we all wish we had in our lives, even though he fueled my Elsinore and Mugen addiction like no other. lol. This isn’t right or fair. Far too young. Rest In Peace sir. Break Pete24 balls for us.

Joe was kind enough to share his knowledge with me on a couple of occasions via email, first in 2008 and then again in 2014. He didn't have to respond to my requests, but did so with enthusiasm and friendliness, giving me photographs and insights that I'll cherish. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. Sincere condolences to his family.

I met him several years ago at Rio Bravo and he has helped me, with many bike questions, over the years. Prayers sent.

This hurts. I never met Joe but had some IMs with him here and on a gun forum.

We shared an occupation and hobbies.

Unbelievable. Been a member for a long time and his name was a regular among forum posts. It almost felt as if I knew him better than I did. Horrible news. God Bless him and his family.

From my interactions with him here and when I was in need of a PVL ignition for my '74 Yamaha MX360, he was always more than helpful and he had a great attitude.

Rest easy Newmann.
