This race should be live on mxgptv imo. I would honestly much rather watch this than the GP this weekend.

So out of about 300 bikes there are:

1 Suzuki
25 Yamahas
2 Kawasakis

1,000,000 KTM/Hus

I don’t know why they don’t have the whole event on demand, they do a highlights show so all the cameras are there.

I have no idea of form of top riders, but all the best for the Australian riders. Larwood is pretty quick so will be interesting.

My first thoughts too!

Double the amount of Suzuki’s over Honda lol. Not a single KX65 I find hard to believe growing up I remember a green grid how did they screw it up so bad.

What a shame to have so little diversity in it.

the KX65 has had a longer production run than the KX60 did,

You would have to think Kawasaki would look at how popular the YZ65 proved to be and think maybe, just maybe it is time for an update.

Looking forward to seeing how the Aussies go, some great talent there.

Lucky enough to spend the weekend shooting the World Juniors last year when they were in Aus, ran into a Kiwi or two Smile

For any other live timing junkies:

https://www.mgmtiming.it/MGMLiveWMXJ.html

!!!GO VÍTĚZSLAV MAREK!!! - Nr. 479 EMX65
I hope he repeats his results today!!!
He finished 2nd in first moto didn't watch live so only from results i assumed that he got worse start than Ky Woods but was faster than Lotte van Drunen so it turned out to be stalemate 1 and 2.

Kinda bummer only Mikula and Wagenknecht qualified for 85s and 125s. Mikula is now burried in 30-ish place, got pace to ride 15-ish but botched the start i assume. Doesn't look like podium finish in nations classification this year. Sad

Nope, it’s always around this time, just before Lorettas. Back in the days it was the other way around and there were some really heavy hitters coming over from the US.

Guys. I am kinda scared about future of Belgian motocross.

Their best riders were 16th in 65ccm, 20th in 85 ccm, 22 in 125 ccm. Even last year they were down only results of Liam Everts did hold them afloat...

Thats the results when you guys only have a few tracks to practice and young starters(family) lost interest and going a different way.

Kinda sad. Maybe we should start new forum thread "Belgium decline" to compete with "Suzuki decline" thread.

Yeah, it's quite simple: if you can't offer a track nearbye you will not get new kids to ride. The sport will slowly die in Belgium this way.

Last year it was after LLs in Australia as it is most years. It has only been before a couple of times.

Something must’ve happened to Everts, he won a race last year & his results in EMX125 this year have been impressive.

It is still his rookie year, and its not like he had been challenging for top5 overalls. His overalls for the year have been 14th-9th-15th-11th-8th.

Still think he’s been riding good, his overalls have been affected by not putting 2 solid rides together.
